The only good thing about this property is the staff. From the reception desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was so incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. I asked for an apple at breakfast one day and one of the staff made sure I had one every day after. Literally unbelievably kind and attentive. Huge shoutout to all of them. Also, the proximity of the hotel to the train station is a huge pro. Everything else about this property was lackluster at best. The property is super outdated and you can feel it. The cleaning crew definitely does their best but it just doesn’t *feel* clean because the property is so worn. Additionally, the continental breakfast buffet is easily one of the worst I’ve ever had. Rubbery eggs, extra salty bacon, and overly greasy food. We opted to just buy out several days because it just wasn’t edible. I go into any continental breakfast with pretty low expectations but after this experience, any future continental breakfast will be five star quality. If you’re stopping through for a night or two on the way to a cruise, this is a great choice. But I wouldn’t do a long term stay here again.

Not great. At all.

Curtains fell on my head when I tried to close them. Showerhead split so most of the water squirted out the side. Only one thin pillow each and wooden headboard so very uncomfortable trying to read or watch the TV when lying down. Room was really small. Paper cups instead of glasses which they left when they did the room. Final straw was walking from the car to the hotel and an enormous rat ran along the pavement in front of us and disappeared down a broken drain cover.

Good breakfast. We paid for the cold breakfast which was plenty of food for us. Easy to walk to from train station as well as the cruise terminal. The bed was comfortable. Birds were a little noisy at 5 a.m.

Ok for an overnight stay! Was clean and comfortable but had to leave windows open as too warm and air con was very noisy! Kept being woken because of loud cars and people singing very loudly! Fix air con so windows can be closed shutting out the noise

I enjoyed the Ibis very much. the location was perfect and the staff wonderful. I appreciated them storing our luggage and the bar and restaurant was excellent!

Will never book an Ibis again!

Really disappointed in this hotel. Stayed one night in room 103. Huge stain on carpet in room, chipped furniture, dust round skirtings , splashes of goodness knows what on door of bathroom. So hot in room - although a fan was provided. We have stayed in Ibis hotels before and they have always been nice hence the reason we chose this one but never again. Didn’t complain although should’ve done! Honestly check out this room and give us a refund!
