To many questions to answer for hotel booking.

After I paid I then had lot of questions to answer about myself , had I not paid before hand I would have look for another hotel even if it meant using two different hotels for weekend, not told beforehand hotel is via seafront and. Is on double yellow lines and friendly traffic warden told me lots of guest have problems opening the front door using keyless door lock.

Family review for weekend at southend stay

Overall the apartment was nice but the sofa bed advertised as double which was completely misleading. We had an 11 year old and 17 year old with us - they just about fitted on the so called double sofa bed. They both complained of a bad nights sleep. Lucky we only booked for two nights!! I think they need to be more honest in their advertising. Apart from that, easy to check in and the apartment wasn't too bad. Way too small for 4 people unless very very small children. Room more suited for 3 people. 2 in the double bed and 1 person on the sofa bed,

The communication leading up to the booking was terrible. When we arrived the front door was wide open and the room was not as advertised.

I am not great with technology and thinking I had paid for one night I ignored an email asking for more money as I thought it was a scam. I could not get into the property but met someone coming out who gave me a mobile number. I was asked to complete a form online. I could not get it to submit. I was very distressed as I was there to scatter my mother's ashes. I went to another hotel where there was a persin on reception who could help me.

Was lovely quite trouble with the pin coded doors when my phone died I couldn’t get in as I didn’t remember the code to the front door but a guest opened the door it would be a lot easier if u had one pin and maybe a key remembering two pins is a bit of a pain but other then that everything else was great I would use them again
