Wharenui is a rustic 7-bedroom villa, set only 5 minutes from Arrowtown. On 11.5 acres of land, this home features a tennis court, swimming pool, spa pool, sauna & big gardens. The main home has 5 bedrooms, an open fireplace & a pool table. A separate stone cottage on the property hosts 2 bedrooms & a second lounge space with another fireplace.

Wharenui is a spacious, rustic country family home privately nestled amongst 11.5 acres of mature grounds, yet only a 5 minute drive to Arrowtown, 10 minutes to Coronet Peak ski field and 20 minutes to Queenstown. The charming character of this unique vacation rental instantly feels `homely` and its spectacular setting feels private and peaceful.

Wharenui`s main house has five bedrooms, two living rooms and a kitchen and dining area, whilst a separate charming stone cottage sleeps a further four guests with two ensuite bedrooms and a lovely cosy living room with another fireplace.

In the main house, the extremely spacious living room has a large roaring open fire, large entertainment system and a pool table, and enjoys gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. There is also a seperate cosy den with an additional open fire which offers a more intimate space for relaxing, reading or watching TV. The kitchen and dining area is the perfect place for families to come together, with a table large enough for the whole group to dine together. In summer, you can open up the french doors onto the terrace and dine under the pergola while you enjoy the late warm evenings next to the outdoor fireplace and admire the stars in this rural setting.

For our outdoor lovers, the property also has a swimming pool, tennis court, spa pool, an expansive lawn and bubbling stream. With so much outdoor space, the children will certainly never run out of space to play at this beautiful home!

Being such a large vacation rental, Wharenui is the perfect character property for up to three families or a group of friends to share a special holiday or milestone in a beautiful rural setting.

Please note that this villa is not suitable for events or functions hosting more than the maximum 14 guests.

Guests will have access to the whole property, including the tennis court, swimming pool, sauna, spa pool, garden, outdoor BBQ and main house.

A MajorDomo representative will meet you at the property on arrival to show you around, and then we will give you space to enjoy the home freely, but will be available via phone or email if required.

All children and infants are included in the total guest count - maximum number of guests should not exceed that specified on this listing, including all infants. Any bookings made exceeding the maximum number of guests will be cancelled.

Please note, the maximum count at Wharenui is 14 guests (maximum 12 adults + 2 children)

A refundable security deposit will be charged to your card prior to your check in. This is a MajorDomo requirement of booking. The deposit value is usually equivalant to the cost of 1 night - we will advise you of the exact figure in your confirmation email.
