Tv remote wasn’t in room for telly, shower didn’t go hot at all was freezing and the room layout was weird as was the host. Wouldn’t come back, didn’t get a balcony room and they looked nicer so would recommend going for that

Very friendly staff and perfect location for exploring the local area and beyond. Local facilities are adequate with some good reasonably priced restaurants. Close to a range of beaches catering for different needs. The town comes alive in the evenings!

Good room

It is located in a village south of Split, close to a bus stop, restaurants, coffee bars. Room was clean, hosts were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast!

Fabulous location with an amazing view across the bay with a mountainous backdrop. The owner was welcoming and helpful. Bus stop 5 min walk away and buses to Split ran regularly from here. The Owners restaurant, positioned underneath, sold a good selection of meals and the manager was helpful and friendly. Also, nearby there are a variety of restaurants and coffee bars to chose from.

The location is excellent. An easy bus ride into Split, and plenty of places to eat etc. The owner is great and makes you feel welcome and well looked after. The views are great also. We would come and stay here again next time.

Nice location. Very traditional location. Friendly owners greeted on arrival. Easy twenty minute bus trip into Split. Lovely food served in the local restaurants. Very friendly staff. Defiantly glad we chose this location. Ideal for a quiet break. Location best suited for those who want quiet, peaceful. If you want laid back, chilled, easy going, this is the place.

Fantastic!

What a beautiful located place It's just so prefect owners so friendly we stayed in a studio apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and waking up looking out of our windows was a pleasure already thinking about booking for next year as soon as we get home bringing the family next time too the whole harbour is so chilled out and people are really friendly thank you for a stay we will always remember

Close to beach and food

Good accomodation close to beach and owner of property has a restaurant underneath apartments which is very handy. Close to supermarkets & ATM etc Check in was confusing and we could not get TV and fridge to work but other that, good value for money.

The hotel was great the town was amazing close enough to split but far enough away to get a break from the crowds. the restaurant was amazing the waiter was a sweetheart. I absolutely loved everything about the place and the people.

GOOD CHOICE OF EATING PLACES

The room had a lovely view but the fridge was disgusting and smelled awful. The room was quite small and pokey. The restaurant attached was ok and there's a good bar next door which is very reasonable. Lots of eating places closeby and a bus route is also close to get into Split.

Very good location with good view of mountains/sea

Caught 10 pm airport bus to Split (could have caught cheaper No. 37 bus) then 10.45 pm No. 25 bus to Stobrec to within 200 m of apartments. We were met at the apartments door and shown our room. It was clean and comfortable but not spacious and not overly equipped for self catering. Their restaurant opens for breakfast and they do a good omelette and continental breakfast. We ate at the restaurant a few times in the evening and can recommend the house red (we found this was good wherever we ate) and pizzas - try the sweet schnapps. The view of the mountains across the bay in the late evening sun is wonderful. Apartment was cleaned regularly. Proprietor and staff always courteous and helpful. The sea is spectacularly clear but don't expect proper sandy beaches - fine limestone gravel beaches instead. There is a good bus service into and out of Split, which is well worth a visit. The local information office was very helpful. Enjoyed the fruit and tomatoes from the small market near the information, the ham and cheese from the supermarket opposite and the dark lager and craft beers (the latter in Split). Would definitely return.

No Frills, but Great Location

This hotel really doesn't offer much in the way of amenities. When we arrived at 4pm (check-in opened at 2pm) there was no one at the desk, and no response came from ringing the bell. We finally got some help downstairs in the restaurant. Even after we got into the room, though, the power didn't work. We decided to roll with it and went to a nearby beach for a few hours. Thankfully, by the time we returned, the power had been fixed. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant and as accommodating as they could be. And more importantly, the hotel is in an EXCELLENT location. A short walk away is a lovely beach with lots of restaurants to choose from. A scuba dive shop is located just around the corner. A nearby bus takes you straight to Split. Stobrec (and Apartments Porat) is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to visit Split but stay away from the commotion and who doesn't need all the frills of a fancy hotel.

Pleasant apartments in great location

The apartments are conveniently located 7km from central Split. There is excellent off street parking. Bus transport to Split is nearby and it takes 20-30 minutes into Split. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful and the staff are pleasant and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a small restaurant below the apartments which has excellent service and serves good meals at a reasonable cost. The breakfast is value for money - the omlette is highly recommended. There is a great view out over the harbour so you can watch the boats coming and going - altogether very relaxing.

Great place for relxing

Total was great, amazing view and friendly stuff. bed was not comfortable and for couple was awful, it was two beds combined to one and there was a wood sticking in between so no spoons with your girl during the night.

Too far from central Split

The double bed was 2 singles joined together, not nice for a couple. Didn't realise how far away we were from Split, our fault. Was there on a Sunday and without a car. it's quite a walk to the bus stop and Sunday service was sporadic. Monday was fine as bus stops right near the apartment. Great views of the marina. Lovely staff. Pluming needs sorting, every time someone went to the loo you knew about it. Skip the breakfast, nice but overpriced. There are some bakeries nearby and a supermarket.
