Manatee Bend is located on the main river of the amazingly clear waters of Weeki Wachee. Sitting right in the middle of all of the action that the river brings, watch the manatees or even a dolphin go by, you are surrounded by pure beauty. You are right around the bend from the famous hospital hole.

Picture yourself sitting at the seawall relaxing by the waterfront and watching the manatee’s go by or in the screened in porch. This is an ideal home for your next family retreat or a getaway with a group of friends. Bring your charcoal and your burgers and grill up your family’s favorite meal. To the right side of the property, enjoy the covered bar area with seating, ceiling fan, a sink and mini fridge that overlooks the river.

The Space

This ranch style split floor plan home has a great layout for two families or group of friends. Walk in the front door and you are greeted by the open living and dining room combo. This home has 3 bedrooms. You have 2 ensuite are on opposite sides of the home for added privacy. Your first Ensuite has a King size bed. The second ensuite has 2 queen beds. The 3rd bedroom space has a queen size bed. The living room also has a comfortable memory foam queen size sleeper sofa. Your fully stocked kitchen has everything that you will need to whip up your favorite dishes while overlooking the river. Your screened in porch will keep you comfortable with a second dining area and lounge area. The backyard that overlooks the main river will keep you entertained for days. You have stepped access into the river right from your backyard, making it easy to get in and out of a kayak.

We have 4 single and 3 double kayaks and 1 paddle board for your enjoyment. We have life jackets and whistles for you to use as well which is required to carry on your water vessels . You will also find a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and a river front wood fire pit for you to use.

The “Manatee Bend” has it all for you to enjoy days and days on the river.

Everything we needed!

We had a wonderful time here! This was a prime location on Weeki Wachee with all the amenities needed for a great stay. Plenty of kayaks & life jackets, a well stocked kitchen and VERY COMFY BEDS!!! This is our 3rd annual girls trip we've taken to Weeki Wachee and our first time in this house and I slept 100x better here than places we've booked previous years. Sometimes with vacation rentals the hosts cut corners with lower quality beds and mattresses but that is not the case here. And I appreciated that the curtains actually made it dark in the room at night (can you tell I'm getting older and need my beauty rest 😆) But seriously, when you're kayaking all day the last thing you want is to wake up and your back hurts from the bed, so thank you for that!! Each of the 2 bathrooms are located en suite in the front 2 bedrooms so you do have to come through the bedroom to use the bathroom which didn't present an issue for our group bc we are all very close and probably most people booking a house together for vacation are as well but just mentioning because there is a 3rd bedroom and whoever stays in that room will need to enter the bedroom of someone else if you happen to need to use the restroom at night. Again, not an issue for us I just wanted to mention bc you can't always tell what the layouts are like from the pictures. We all agreed that we would happily stay here again!

Beautiful backyard oasis

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The check-in process was fast and easy. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard the most. The kayaks on the property were perfect for our group and the path along the crystal clear water was amazing. Jennifer our host was very attentive to our needs and made our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to coming back soon!

Awesome trip

The home was beautiful and better than the pics. Our family from 74-7 had a great time. We saw manatee everyday and even a dolphin cruised thru. We enjoyed sitting out by the water watching people going by. We went and saw the mermaids but mostly enjoyed hanging out at the house and being with family.it was nice to have access to canoes and kayaks when we wanted to venture into the water. Would definitely rent here again..

River vacation

Beautiful home and location, great amenities. House was clean except for clothes left in drawers. There is a large hole on the concrete patio that is treacherous. Two people in our party stumbled on it. We loved it and would definitely recommend it and return.

Great house on best part of river

The house was clean and had everything we could have needed. The kitchen is beautiful with a breakfast nook that looks out to the water. The artificial grass was soft on everyone's feet. There were plenty of life jackets. The pictures of the house and river/yard don't do this spot justice. It's beautiful. If you have toddlers or young kids bring 2 handle covers because there's only door knob locks (the deadbolts lock with a key inside too) on the water side of the house. It's close to the park to go down and play on the playground and it's close to sandy places to play in the water. It was a great place and we all agreed we'd rent it again for sure!

Lovely Time at Manatee Bend

We had the loveliest time at this newly renovated property! The house is beautifully done and was perfect for us (family of 8). The owners were great communicators and very responsive to all questions and needs. The river is gorgeous. We were in it every day other than the one day it rained all day. Several members of our party kayaked to Hospital Hole (which is close) and saw a family of manatees. We didn't want to leave! Thank you!
