There is a ton of free parking in front of the building. Please be aware that this is not a newly built, luxurious building. Folks come back year after year for the beautiful beach access and views, oceanfront patios, and heated pools, but if you're looking for a luxurious stay we suggest searching elsewhere as the condo itself is dated.

Other things to note We warmly welcome your furry companions, as we are a pet-friendly establishment with a maximum limit of two pets per stay. Please note that there is a pet fee of $50 per pet per stay.
***BUILDING PROJECTS*** Beginning in October 2023 and lasting until the end of December 2023, Beacher's Lodge is expecting to have a few more projects being completed.
1. Crescent Beach Dune Renourishment - Mid November to December 2023: Crescent Beach will be scheduled for a dune renourishment project. While we await further details, please be aware that this project may affect our beach access. Beacher's lodge may have to shut down their beach access. We are hopeful that the boardwalk will remain open to be able to guide you past the work area. However, please understand that we will be impacted, and there might be sand trucks working in front of our property during this time. The more the information becomes available, we will be sure to pass along. - Work for Crescent beach is set for early to mid November. We heard an estimate of around 11/9 but that date is not set. - The work schedule will be Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 7pm. - They believe the project will be quick moving and anticipate being in front of our property directly for only a couple of days. During these 2-3 days our boardwalk and access to the beach will have to remain closed for working hours (6:30 am to 7pm). They cannot provide the exact dates of this closure, so we will have to provide that information as soon as it is provided to us. - They will be closing the beach parking lot next door to us for the duration of the time they will be working on the beach in our area and will not allow pedestrian traffic through or use of the county beach boardwalk, so this will not be an option when our beach access is closed. While they stated they would not be parking heavy equipment there, they do intend to use this area next door for staging. - They will be adding another dune directly in front of the existing dunes and the height is approximately 13' in height. They will plant sea oats in this newly formed dune. - The purpose of this additional dune is more sacrificial, they say there is a 20% chance each year that a storm will come and wash away this sand, but the aim is to keep it from washing away the remainder of the existing dunes behind this new sand dune. - Because our boardwalk extends 50' past the dunes, we do not expect our beach stairs to be impacted, they will put dirt underneath the boardwalk and around the pilings. - There will be large equipment - dump trucks and excavators. This equipment will be noisy. They will bring vibration detection equipment to make sure that the vibrations do not exceed the allowed threshold, but we may hear some noise and/or vibrations during the working hours.
2. Property Maintenance Tasks - October 23rd, 2023 to December 22nd 2023: Beacher's Lodge will have Complete Property Services return this fall to finish a punch list of items on property. In addition to the punch list, there is a small list of change order requests that will need to be approved and could potentially fill in some of the timeline provided below. From 10/23/23 until possibly 12/22/23 there will be workers present on property Monday- Friday, 8am to 6pm. There will be no property work performed on Saturdays and Sundays, there will be no work on Thanksgiving Thursday or Friday and we hope to be completed prior to the Christmas holiday week.
In the timeline below you will see specific weeks where we will be working on repainting the yellow transition stripes at the end of each alcove. When this work was done in early spring, there were too many visitors and people stepped and tracked through this yellow paint. Beacher's Lodge is requesting that we restrict occupancy of our condo during the specified week for the floor our condo is on. There will be grinding initially to remove the existing coatings and the yellow product will be reapplied and will need adequate time to dry.
10/23 - 10/27: Initial setup and general public areas, ground level items like cracks, paint bubbles etc. 10/30 - 11/3: 4th floor Occupancy Restriction to paint alcove step up yellow paint, stucco patches on ground floor 11/06 - 11/10: 3rd floor Occupancy Restriction to paint alcove step up yellow paint , stucco patches 11/13 - 11/17: 2nd floor Occupancy Restriction to paint alcove step up yellow paint , stucco patches 11/20 - 11/22: General public areas - Public area items IE cracks, stucco etc. 11/23 - 11/24: Thanksgiving break 11/27 - ?: General public areas, done before Christmas break or sooner.

We had a lovely, quick stay at this apartment. The views from the apartment are amazing. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.
We have stayed at Beacher Lodge before. Was very well aware of the age of the condominium, but had a great experience last time. This time complete dissappintment!The curtains were falling off the walls, couch was discusting! The pull out bed was so old and nasty not to mention mattress was maybe 4 inches thick and all springs. The bedroom smelled like wet dog, the bathroom had no toilet paper holder and had cleaning materials that looked 40 years old sitting under the sink exposed. The lamp in the bedroom was broke like leaning 20 degrees sideways. The ac units were in terrible condition and the humidity was so bad even with the dehimidifier running the the furniture stayed wet and the ceiling fan was curiling up. There was only 4 towels provided and they were thin short and miserably uncomfortable 1 even had a yellow stain on it. We wont be back!
Host was welcoming. Pool and beach access were nice. Unit was showing age. Refrigerator was rusty, living room curtain rod was falling down. Minimal kitchen pots/utensils available. Couch was very dirty. Door lock was a total nightmare to function.
Location was good for our needs. We only slept there for our three nights. Mainly liked having a king size bed. But the whole place is very small. It was clean enough and had the necessities, but we felt cramped. It would be helped with a bit more care in some of the cosmetics like a blackout curtain for the bedroom and some minimal fixes. It just wasnât what we had hoped for, but if youâre looking for beach access this is a good selection.
We enjoyed our stay. The room did smell of pet, so if you are traveling with a pet this is great, if youre not then your items may smell like pet. The couch was the smellest part. Location great! Pool was wonderful! Hot water only worked for the first few minutes of each shower or bath, so plan accordingly if multiple people need to use it. Great Location close to downtwon saint augustine, its about a 30 minute drive.
Perfect for the wife an i. Great view of the beach amazing sunrise. Right next to the pool and beach gate good parking. Comfortable bed. Couldnt have asked for a better stay! Definitely will be staying here again
Beach view was a concrete wall. Several items needed to be fixed. Said they were going to be by to fix the items everyday. Finally fixed them on the last night of our 5 day stay. They said they would give a 30% refund for the inconvenience. That never happened either. Place is so old they have wall unit hvac that are very noisy and can't sleep with them on. Fan didn't work in bathroom. Toilet leaked. No dishwasher. Good luck!
Great beach access and ocean view from the back patio. Comfortable bed and couch and nice pool. The unit has a smart TV, but could be a little larger for older folks who donât see as well lol. Overall, itâs a great weekend getaway spot. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness is I had a spider drop down on my head while I was brushing my teeth but not a big deal.
We have stayed at Beacherâs Lodge before and had a pleasant experience but we will not rent this unit again. Pros-The king bed was comfortable -Close to the pool and beach accessCons-Unit is too tiny for 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 10yo). A couple would be fine. -Pull out couch was so uncomfortable Im pretty sure itâs broken -The ac didnât work. We did recieve a partial refund for this but from the added fan and a dehumidifier in the already small living room this was an issue before we rented the unit. The place was musky and while it is an ocean front unit the place looked like it had been without ac for a while. -Management was ok. Quick to respond but they misquoted the pet fee and an additional night stay (double charging for the cleaning fee). This affected our trip and I ended up getting a room elsewhere for that night and had to board my dog. The WiFi password provided was wrong. The gate access to get in from the beach was wrong. Just seemed like this property was not a high priority. -The towels. We stayed two night 4 people and were given 3 bath towels. The pool had no towels as well. They did on previous stays. -I am a small frame and had to walk side ways to get around the king size bed. Again, the unit may work for someone else but for us it did not.
Loved the beach view and the ease of getting to the beach and pool, and the grassy area where the dog could runaround. The king bed was very comfortable, however the sofa bed was terrible for the kids and no linen and no response from the host when I sent a message. I had to go and purchase some linen alao towels only 3 for 4 people..also trash all under the sofa when we pulled it out.. the whole place smells musty and moldy..
We had a wonderful time at Crescent Beach in this convenient ground floor unit facing the beach ! The bed was super comfortable and the whole experience will make us book again next year! The host was absolutely top notch !
The door code wouldnât work half the time! The unit was filthy the toilet was not clean,and bathroom and bedroom smelled of mold. The couch was covered in sand, the tub didnât drain
