I wish I just booked down the road, the room stank and had a damp musky smell, it was located right next to the pool so you had the noise of the water pumps constantly, room fittings were falling off, toilet never shut off, constant running, so seriously disappointed, every time I drove past the Courtyard just down the way, I cursed myself!!

St. Augustine Family Stay

We enjoyed the location of the hotel right across from a not so crowded beach. $10 a day to park at the hotel and not really an alternative for overnight. Pool is easily accessible and has a shower to rinse off the sand. The lounge and seating area around the pool was nice also. The Old Town Trolly picks up / drops off on A1A in front of the hotel about 5 min before each hour they operate the beach trolly which will take you into downtown St. Augustine stop #14. It made the hop on/off tickets and hotel parking more worth it! The room was nice and had many shelves. Only down side was the bathroom had a barn style door so didn’t offer much privacy. Also, many gnats come out in the whole area after sun down, but not on the beach. There were many restaurants near and soon to be two grocery stores a few minutes south. Pedestrian crossings and beach access with parking everywhere or you can drive on the beach with a pass. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was nice. I’ve always booked right at the beach so I didn’t like having to vary our chairs so far. We are 74 so it was difficult for us. It’s fine for people that are younger than us.

Hotel was very clean. Kids enjoyed the waffle maker every morning. Beach is just across the street so no need to load the car up. Staff was pleasant. We enjoyed our stay!

Jacuzzi was cold and Not warm or hot. Just a giant bubble machine with luke warm water. Towels had hairs all over them. Toilets barley flush and take 3 to 4 minutes to fill. Entry door to room has 1 inch gap the length of the door. All electrical outlets very odd places like behind the mirror in bathroom by the door. Breakfast was wet corn beef hash they charge for parking no elevator. Sliding barn door for bathroom you can see and hear anyone in the bathroom in the room. Loud cleaning crew on cell phones in parking lot during the day.
