Stayed here for a quick trip to St. Augustine over a few days, and the bed was very comfy! Cleanliness overall was great, with the exception of slightly sticky floors so I made sure to wear socks when walking around(which I usually do anyways). Everything we needed was provided; towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, sponges, paper towels - everything except a spray cleaner so I couldn't quite keep the place as clean as I would've wanted to. If I were to stay here a week I would've bought some spray cleaner because I'm just that kind of a person who likes to maintain cleanliness on all surfaces - so heads up if you're like that also! The location was close enough to downtown to catch the trolley, but not quite close enough to walk to downtown, it's a few miles away. As you may know, or if you don't now you will, visiting St. Augustine involves lots of walking! It's a very walkable city, so starting your walk near downtown is always best. The trolley system cost about 40 per person a day, so be prepared to either pay that or pay for a 20 daily parking fee at the downtown garage. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, we got great sleep, the location seemed safe, and it was easy to go in and out of the home with the keypad lock. There was some noise above us, so if you're a very light sleeper it may not work for you. I think the folks above us were walking normally, not trying to be loud at all, it's just an old structure with thin walls/flooring.
The roomette was cozy and clean. Would have given 5 stars if the room didn't smell a bit musty although it is understandable due to the age of the building. The bed was comfortable and the location very convenient.
Check in was good, place was kind of hard to find as gps took me a street down. Quiet property, which was great. The floor could have used a better mopping, i could feel dirt walking barefoot. Overall, bedding was comfortable, and place was nice and quaint.
