Modern, spacious, ground floor luxury apartment with private driveway, parking for 2+ cars.
Open plan living with underfloor central heating, electric fire in lounge area; master king size bedroom with en suite facilities, bedroom 2 (sleeps 3, either 3 x singles or 1 x king & 1 x single) separate bathroom & utility room.
Outside area with 2 patios & BBQ area; storage for surf boards, kayaks etc.
We are a 10 minute downhill walk from The very beautiful Polstreath beach & Mevagissey Harbour.
Please note: The Kitchen is fitted with an Induction Hob (which may not be suitable for people with a pace maker fitted).

Tolle und komfortable Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Mevagissey ist ein kleines, nicht allzu ĂŒberlaufenes Fischerdorf an der milden SĂŒdkĂŒste Cornwalls. Es lĂ€dt zum Wandern am KĂŒstenpfad entlang oder auch fĂŒr Autotouristik ein. Von Dartmoor National Park bis Land's End oder Tintagel ist alles erreichbar. Die Ferienwohnung bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort fĂŒr eine tolle Urlaubswoche in Cornwall und darĂŒber hinaus. Wir hatten fast immer strahlend blauen Himmel und konnten unser FrĂŒhstĂŒck im Freien genießen, mit Katze Lady und den frechen Möwen.

A very beautiful stay

We spent 3 very beautiful days in the apartment. Everything was best beginning with the Check-In ending with the modern furnishings and the comprehensive kitchen equipment. Our stay by the sea

Great place, very clean and comfortable. Location was wonderful as we were able to walk down the hill into town each day for lunch or dinner. The town is beautiful with lots of cool shops and restaurants. Appliances are a bit over engineered (needed to google the make of the stove to figure out how to turn the burners on). But we loved the place and would recommend it to our friends.

The White House is a wonderful apartment, with everything we needed and even things we didn't think we needed! Lorraine and Simon are great hosts and we fell in love with Lady the cat! Lorraine is a wonderful, helpful hostess who promptly answered my questions in advance and welcomed us when we arrived. The property is spacious, clean, and beautiful, with every amenity you could wish for. It's easy to find with GPS, and you can park your car at the property and take the lovely walk down the hill to the town. Because the hill is extremely steep, those with physical disabilities might have a tough time getting down and back up again. However, at almost age 60 and in reasonable shape, we were fine. Mevagissey itself is a lovely fishing town, with plenty of shops, good things to eat, and views; it did not disappoint. We very much enjoyed the coastal walk from Mevagissey to Pentewan and back, with spectacular views (and great exercise going up and down steep slopes). It's also not far from Lorraine's apartment to the A390 to access other Cornwall attractions.

Had a great week at the White House everything was as described,plenty of seating inside and out and everything you needed if you so wished to cook. Cream tea waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Lovely walks to the harbour and back.

Hidden Gem - Quiet Location

Beautiful ground floor apartment. Tastefully decorated. Owners really helpful. Lovely welcome pack. Even a picnic basket and chairs etc. Comfortable bed. 5 Minute walk to coastal path. 5-10 Minute walk down to Mevagissey. Longer back due to steep hill. Pretty view across the hillside. Plenty of outside parking and seating areas, undercover and outside.
