Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the yearâlike rooftop yoga, kidâs crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!
There is a designated parking lot for RVs, trailers, and boats. The cost is $15 per vehicle per stay. All vehicles must be registered in advance to park in this lot. Please contact our team prior to arrival for registration details and instructions.
We would like to advise you that during this time, the Desert Color Community is experiencing ongoing construction in proximity to your vacation rental. While this will not impact your use of any of the provided amenities, we want to remind all guests only to use the designated and completed roads and pathways, and to steer clear of any active construction activity. This will ensure not only your safety but the safety of the construction workers. Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Love the two living spaces and the huge dining table for our group of 9 people. The bunk room was great for kids, and they also loved the Wii in the upstairs living area. The desert color neighborhood has trails and lots of outdoor options, but the pickleball courts stayed packed constantly. There is currently only one pool for a ton of properties. We did use the pool even though it was December, but in warmer months I can imagine it wouldnât be sufficient. The house had the necessities. I would have liked a fitted sheet on the master bed. They used flat sheets for top and bottom, so it pulled up and made the bed uncomfortable. Also, the property had no spices or aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Those arenât required, but it is nice when properties leave some from previous guests. I left some there, so hopefully future guests will have them. There arenât any restaurants nearby. Desert color is off by itself. The new Smiths Marketplace off the same exit is really nice, though. We went there several times. Overall, would stay again, but not as a first choice.
Everything was perfect! The place was nice with all the amenities, so clean and decorated cute, and every appliance and kitchen item youâd ever need including a waffle maker, and labeled so nicely so we knew where things were and where to put them back.
