This was literally the worst stay of my life! The place was so old and disgusting. We came back to the room with a bunch of bugs crawling on the ceiling. The owner, who lives there BTW, cane with a broom and took them down. Needless to say we couldn't sleep that night. Then the water flow was a trickle, literally! She said we'll fix it. Well then the water was black! Next, we had a "private" villa. We are changing our clothes and a random man and woman are on the patio. We again txt the owner. She said that they were employees and she would tell them, they can't take brakes on the patio. Like what!!!??? You have to tell them that!? So we were ready to leave after less then 24hrs. Expedia called to get some of our money back but she refused! It was awful. We are suing her for all of it now. Do not stay here!!
Ms. Sharon & her daughters were great hosts that accommodated all my needs. Just a phone call a way... The property is beautiful & unique. The breakfast was amazing. The 2 pools are accessible at any time but the only thing is one of the pool is deep, so be careful if you cant swim. Otherwise 10/10
While the property was pretty and unique, we had no hot water for our entire stay and breakfast was very basic. Our light bulb blew and that was rectified but the no hot water and no tv not working made it miserable.
Super nice staff. Cute room, place was clean, pools were quiet. Overall, we were happy with our choice. I was caught by suprise about the lack of hot water but that was my fault for not thinking to look into it. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great, no bugs were seen besides mosquitoes that snuck in with the door opening.
Such an amazing vibe, felt super connected to the island. Remember youâre super close with nature so there will be some bugs but honestly worth the stay
We have had a wonderful stay at Reef View! We spent 3 nights in the Turtle Back pavilion upon arrival and then in a beautiful room later in our trip. Both were very clean and comfortable. Our hostess Sharon is super friendly and very helpful as she had great recommendations for restaurants and transportation. We would definitely recommend staying there and will do so again!
The architecture of the property was interesting- unique in fact. I also liked the vibrant colours.
With respect to transportation, you really need a car to get about. Or taxi, of course.
Our family, had a wonderful stay, love this villa. Very spacious. Area very quiet. Very clean. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Communicated well and promptly.
The owner Sharon, was very helpful in showing us around and assisting us with getting a taxi. Room was perfect for our short stay. Loved the style of the hotel. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the ability to cook our own meals and have a full kitchen accessible to us.
Beautiful views from rooftop pool terrace, quiet and safe area. Only a 2 minute walk to a nice private beach with some nice snorkelling. Sharon is welcoming and great to communicate with! Spacious rooms and living space, but the beds weren't the most comfortable. Restaurants and grocery were about 10 minute walk away, but quite the hills along the walk. Our family of 8 had a great visit to Grenada while staying at Reef View Pavillion.
Reef View Pavilion is not what we expected at all. Pictures at hotel.com are stunning but reality is that the place is not in a condition I would recommend anyone for that price. Essentially it is at the same condition as I would expect a hostel in Chile, Peru or Bolivia where I have travelled a lot. Example: No hot water in the shower, Dirty dishes and cutery in shared spaces. Breakfast consisted of coffee, two slices of toastbread with no spread of any kind and two eggs. No milk, butter, juice, jam or anything. Coffee machine was not working and water inside the watertank was green and smelling. Glass n the pool covering the lights were broken? Electricity could lead to something here. Internet was good and welcome nice. Just not what we expected at all and specially not considering the price per night.
I had an amazing experience at Reef View in Grenada! I stayed in the Pavillion and it was beautiful. Comfy, clean, and intimate setting. At reef view the views are gorgeous, especially from the roof top pool. The staff was so tentative and made my short stay very meaningful. The location is close to Junction and the brewery and a short cab or bus ride to the beach. Grenada itself is a beautiful island with the people to match and sunsets are llike no other . I highly reccomend visiting Grenada and staying at Reef view and I will be coming back!
This was our familyâs first trip to Grenada and the Reef View Pavilion is an establishment that represents upper middle-class living in the Caribbean. All the amenities we needed were provided: swimming pool, 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, kitchen for cooking when we chose to eat-in, spacious living room Netflix for lazy time, a large private upper balcony with great views and plenty of sun bathing. Sharon and Anthon were responsive to us when any issues arose with the property so their responsiveness was like have family members as our hosts. We fully enjoyed the time and experiences we got in Grenada. The facility made it a truly special island experience. Thanks again!
Continental breakfast was not provided as advertised. We were given bread and eggs and were expected to prepare them ourselves. A scraping of butter and jam, a small amount of sugar and a tin of milk were provided upon request. There was an ant infestation in the room and kitchen. There was no hot water in the bathroom.
