Step into our bright yellow townhome to a spacious living, kitchen, and dining space. Upstairs are 2 queen suites and a full bath, then up to the top level king loft with ensuite! We Host is a professional property management company based in Newfoundland! We typically answer messages between 10:30AM and 9:30PM Newfoundland time. However, we are available 24/7 by phone/text (9:30pm-10:30am urgent calls only, please)! You may find yourself speaking with any of our team members. You can contact us via your booking channel as well as replying to the welcome messages you received upon confirmation.
This property is located near the corner of Wood and Duckworth Street, steps away from Bannerman Brewing, Craig's Cookies, Toslow, and everything that Downtown St. John's has to offer. Walk to the Downtown restaurant and shopping district within 10 minutes.

Head up two stairs and enter to the open concept ground level of the home. To your right is a seating area for 4, as well as a dining area for 4. At the back of the home is a stunning fully-equipped kitchen with stone countertops and innovative appliances (including an oven with air-fry mode). There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen.
Off the ground level is a private patio space with seating and a propane fireplace.
Head up to the second level where you will find two queen suites, both with luxury mattresses, comfortable pillows, and full privacy window coverings. There is a full bathroom with shower/bath combo on this level and East Coast Glow amenities are provided. There is also a balcony of this level, excellent for catching afternoon sun!
On the top level of the home is the king suite, with a workspace and ensuite with stand up shower. The king suite encompasses the entire top level of the home and has stunning natural light thanks to large windows and skylights.

>Walking: If the spots you're visiting are within walking distance, walking might be the most convenient option.

Local Hot-Spots : Within a minute's walk from the property, you can enjoy the great Bannerman Brewery, have some sweets from Craig's Cookies, or enjoy a cold one from the Brewdock beer gardens! Just a 5 minute walk down the hill you will arrive on Water Street! Where you can shop at many different local shops, walk down to the Harbourside Park and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Harbour! Also on Water Street, you can enjoy the endless number of restaurants with great food. Also, walk up the hill 7 minutes, and you will arrive at one of St. Johns famous Parks, Bannerman Park! You can enjoy the 12 acres of beautiful land this park has to offer! From a splash pad to an outdoor pool, from many walking trails between beautiful trees, bring a picnic and enjoy what Bannerman Park has to offer!

All We Host units are strictly non-smoking (cigarettes and marijuana) and quiet enjoyment suites. We use Neatmo monitoring devices that immediately alert us of any smoking and excessive noise. Should you violate our house rules, you will be asked to leave and charged $250.
3rd time staying here and itâs starting to feel like our NewFoundland home. Incredible location - several walks up Signal Hill during the days and easy access to restaurants at night. Everything is made easy at check in, everything is clean and bright.Perfect fall weekend - thanks again.
We needed a property for all ages of adults and this was perfect. Location was perfect for getting around as we had a car but then us was around the corner and many sights were walkable from this location.
This place is perfect for a holiday getaway. Everything you might need is available. Beds are so comfy and there's lots of privacy. Samantha and David are the best ... they get back to you right away and are very friendly!
We had a wonderful stay at the Wood House. We stayed there for 10 days in March, 2025.The house was perfect in several ways. The location was excellent. A very walkable location. We walked to mile 0 of Terry Foxâs marathon, George Street, walking the battery.It is a jelly bean house and brought a smile to our faces every time we opened the front door.The finishing were excellent. Excellent carpentry work, selection of colours, comfort of beds, heating system. The acoustic insulation made for a very quiet stay. We heard no sound from neighbours on either side.The amenities were excellent. Tremendous local selection of soaps and hair care products. The supply of coffee started the days off so well.The communication with hosts was excellent. Good website and communication throughout our stay.A fine accomodation for friends or family.
Place was great, the layout inside and location especially. Fire pit/outside space was dirty and unkempt (in part from weather) but there were no items to tidy it with so we were unable to use it.
Communicating with the host was fine as they were responsive when I booked, but I think it was AI or just automated messages after that as they didn't respond to my messages about there not being enough toilet paper for our stay nor to a small leak in the front window after heavy rainfall. We fixed/managed these things on our own but it was odd to not receive replies.
Also there is a non-refundable damages fee even if there are no damages which is disappointing considering all the fees we paid separate to this.
Would still recommend this place, and hopefully the owners will read this and consider our experience to make some small changes for future guests :)
This was our first time staying here but we would definitely come back. The house is perfectly located next to downtown and coffee shops while being just out of the way enough to feel homey. The bedrooms, living area and kitchen are beautiful!
