Air was not working. In first or second room ..they tried to give me the run around crap..the maintenance person will fix yes he came but still no air and it was very hot in the room with 4 people..they never offered a fan even wen i told them the room had reached 79 degrees..i had to act out to get a fan..wen it should of been offered..they said they would deduct one night off.. and all fees.. thats not wat they did. I got charged 15.00 on my card for what i cant tell you when all fees should of been gone for my very uncomfortable stay...
Overall positive stay but, the price is a little high for the amenities and condition of the property. Experienced some sleep interruption due to random loud noises.
AC vibration in the first room was so loud that we had to ask for another. The wall was vibrating.
Second room had a broken AC, 78° in there.
Third room "upgrade" was identical to the first two, but a view of the neighborhood instead of the roof. The AC worked, but the pillowcases weren't on the pillows yet, just lying on tge bed as if housekeeping got distracted.
Stay here a lot for my spouses visits to BJH. So easy for hospital stays, AppleBees is great to have and is attached to hotel. Always nice, clean and comfortable.
The property was clean, but I was disappointed that our room looked directly into a parking garage. This room shouldâve been discounted for this. Otherwise it was a nice stay.
The location is excellent. Short walk to the Metro. The room was nice and clean, hallway clean and nice fresh smell. The only negative, had to ask for towels the second night of stay
Room was large, clean , nice, looked like halls and room carpets have been recently renovated. Parking was easy . Room staff was good. However front desk / management was understaffed, ambivalent (1 with two or more others sitting in office chatting, customers waiting) on four occasions we had to interface . Homeless hang in the drop off drive panhandling or in our case person said they were a valet and asked to take our bags and car. Almost did it as person was dressed in black shirt and pants and hat , until upon handing him a bag we recognized he was NOT a valet. We locked the car to ck in and get a garage pass. We told the front desk clerk whoâs tag said supervisor, about the man posing as a valet, he did not acknowledge or respond at all and just went about cking us in. Bizarre, like he was tired of hearing about it. There was a guard in the lobby the one night we walked in after 11pm but she was on the couch speaking with others. They have restricted the entrance to half the entry doors working. Never felt threatened but definitely head was on a swivel as upon every exit or entry to the hotel panhandlers were present. Better management and focus on guest safety would add a star. If going to Barnes location is ideal .
