Good stay

The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Had a glitch with the check in. room was not ready, but they gave me another. Got up to the room and the keys were not coded correctly. They promptly re-keyed them. Hotel was clean. I think new management was taking over and they are diligently working on the small issues. I have stayed here several times over the years and each time it seems management is changing. However, they do their best! I think it was overpriced, however, there was a show in town. I assume they go up on big show nights. Friendly and clean!

The shower seemed like it was going to fall apart. The ceiling in there was scary. The rug in the bedroom was pretty gross. Definitely needed to be cleaned , like steam cleaned.

The bathroom was dirty and needed to be updated. The sinks was falling apart, poor water pressure, and there was a hole in the bathroom wall that was covered with toliet paper. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Perfect Stay

It was a great place. Super clean and helpful friendly staff. I was traveling alone and they were very accommodating and made sure I was safe and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

The Elimwood was an amazing choice for a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. I was given the opportunity to check in early since the staff was very quick and my room was ready, and I got a VERY good spot in line(#32!!) , plus they had a shuttle to and from the venue for those who weren't waiting like I was. The front desk staff was very kind and helped make my concert experience great! I had no trouble walking to the concert venue through the corporate buildings because the staff gave me good guidance and made sure I was safe. Thank you Elimwood, I would 100% consider travelling to STL for a show again knowing theres a good hotel waiting for me after :)

My room smelled of mildew/mold immediately upon entry. Come to find out that the bathroom fan does not work. Staff kept closing bathroom door when they did there round on towels and trash as if they know of the mildew/Mold problem and were trying to contain the smell. By the last few days family was feeling ill. The only enjoyable aspect was the turtle pond.

Stayed one night. Attended a concert at the Hollywood amphitheater about a mile away, hotel offered a shuttle there and back which was super convenient. I arrived before check in, my room type was not avail but they were able to switch room types to accommodate a check in 2 hrs early. Grace was friendly and helpful. I felt the airport shuttle is misleading because I was told it’s only for those who do their park and fly option. I got lucky because the shuttle driver, Jerry, was there and was able to get a ride. Breakfast was enjoyable, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal options, bagels, muffins, jelly, cream cheese, peanut butter. Didn’t catch the cooks name but she was on it! Restocking as needed, keeping options fresh and available.

The staff were amazing….But the hotel Itself smelt old and musty, the elevators about give you a panic attack so old and jerky, and about slid and fell in the shower because the slip strips had been taken out and it was very slippery and the curtains were old and stained up as well as the carpets.

Property is dated and could use a deep clean. All the staff were friendly with the exception of lady checking folks in. Booked a suite which was very spacious. All the fixtures in the room were older and most furniture had significant wear and tear.

2 week trip

We chose this hotel due to our need for 16 days of parking and a 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport. The flight returning was late (12:30a) and the shuttle driver didn’t show up for the shift so the person at the desk came and got us herself. And, she was so nice!!
