Everything was very nice and enjoyable. My one complaint - which, I might add was a Very, Very big issue - was addressed and the charge for my overnight parking was comped. I feel it very inappropriate to charge $80 for 2 nights of parking if the parking garage is not even attached to the facility. In sub zero windchill temps, NOONE wants to trapse across even ONE city block with suitcases and bags to make their way to the lobby of their Hilton stay. And, if I it IS necessary that I do so and ask my guest to do so ... I sure do not expect to have to pay an additional $80 to do so. But, as I said, the fee was comped. Morning of departure, the elevator in the freezing parking structure that was around the block had a not operational sign. So, to further enhance the experience, my 53 year old stiff body with a torn ACL had to cart all of my luggage up the ramp three floors. Needless to say, not how I was hoping to depart from my relaxing weekend trip. It IS peculiar that I was charged $40 a night but refunded only $61. AND, as i had this unexpected fee upon arrival (yes, it is partially on my own accord as I did not read the fine print) I cut out the Christmas at the St. Louis Botanical Gardens tour to make up for the extra expense. So, we missed that as I did not receive the refund until my return back home. So, it was $20 short and a day late on the cancelled garden tour ... but, at this point, I think it is what it is. Thank you.

Their rooms were very nice and clean and well put together in their design. However, the beds and the pillows were not so good. Our pillows were so flat. I have severe neck pain and was not able to sleep comfortably the three nights we were there. We could not get comfortable in the bed. We tossed and turned all night. It felt like we were thinking in the mattress. It was very uncomfortable.

Hilton is known for its good breakfast. That was the whole reason I chose this hotel. We stayed for 3 days with kids and on all 3 days the hotel was NOT able to offer breakfast. Giving excuses that the chef is not in and they can only offer coffee and a frozen pastry.

First room was very dirty, chips and crumbs on the ground, blood spotted sheets, gross carpet. Got a new room which was better, but still dirty, blood stain and brown stain on carpet, pee spots in bathroom. I felt gross walking around without shoes. Restaurant got both my and my friends' orders wrong. Overpriced for the area. Food staff seemed like they didn't like the guests. Seems like most tables had something wrong with their orders. Find a better place to stay.

The hotel was great! The immediate area around it was a bit rough, lots of closed businesses and some construction but it was pretty quiet and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend!

Eager-to-please staff, beautiful corner room, attractive lobby, nice location. The downside of this hotel is its restaurant: overpriced, uninspired food, limited choices. We had lunch there and the shrimp was over salted and peppered, with a few scrawny tidbits of focaccia. This is a shame because the setting - a beautiful old bank lobby - is wonderful. Breakfast was better in quality, but eggs and sausage and coffee for two should not cost $50.
