Grandma has decided she's not coming to Florida for the winter! Come enjoy Grandma's vintage 2BR condo and get out of the cold. On the GROUND FLOOR - no stairs to climb!

Just cross a few parking spaces and you are on majestic St Pete Beach enjoying the sand between your toes! You can watch the sunset every evening. St Pete Beach is the sunset capital of Florida, come see why!

1st floor condo with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Please see the pictures, as this condo is a little dated. It has older furnishings, and we don't want to mislead anyone. If you want high end and modern - this one isn't for you. It's a great location at a great price. If you are a no-frills person, then this place will work just fine for your beachside get-a-way.

This well-stocked kitchen has pots, pans and plenty of service items for all of your all kitchen essentials. It even has a dishwasher! Very rare for these condos. Condo sleeps 6 with 2 Bedrooms: 1 has a KING bed the other has 2 TWIN beds. There is a pull out sofa in the living room. This condo has 2 doors to enter & exit with: one is off the kitchen and is closer to the beach & pool area, the other is off the living room, closer to the shuffleboard court and garden area.
This property offers a heated pool with plenty of seating for guests. You can chat it up with neighbors or relax and keep to yourself and read a book.
There are beach chair/cabana/umbrella rentals on the beach directly in front of the condo or visit the many beach stores within walking distance to the condo.

Condo offers:
Central heat and air.
Coded lock box for easy check ins.
Wi-fi, cable, linens & bath towels are included.
Unfortunately, there are no laundry facilities onsite and routine housekeeping services are not included with these vacation rentals.
There is a BBQ area (charcoal) on site as well as bike racks.
A close walk to many beach restaurants and beach bars.
Shopping is close by, beach stores or stroll down Corey Ave.
Many guests do not bring a car, however an electronic parking pass is included, if needed!
Sorry, no pets allowed per HOA. Strongly enforced.
Coffee machine & toaster included in unit
Hairdryer & iron included.
Walk to great restaurants, beach bars, shops, or enjoy the sunsets on the beach.

Beach is located across the street from Condo and over the dunes (boardwalk): 125 feet +/- to the beach 300 +/- feet to the water.

The pictures online did not represent what the property really was. The furniture looked like someone went to a second-hand store and miss matched old worn-out furniture. The end tables throughout the property were TV dinner trays. The TV in one bedroom sat on dresser with nowhere to plug it in. The TV in the living room had all the cords exposed with no attempt to make them look neat. The condo is very dated throughout and looks like it needs to be gutted and remodeled. The password to the WIFI did not work. The closet where the ironing board was located was crammed full. When we opened the door looking for the ironing board items fell out. We had to take items out in order to get the ironing board out. The good news is it is only a block from a nice beach.

I enjoyed my stay. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact my condo slept 6. But yet only got 4 bath towels. I also didn’t like the fact that if we wanted beach towels. We had to pay to rent them. Never stayed anywhere down there that we had to pay to rent a beach towel

Great stay

The only thing i can think that wasn't great, there was not enough bedding for 6 people. The couch had sheets but no blankets. We found some in the closet but didn't seem super clean. Otherwise the place was wonderful and a great location.

Nice stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Many families stay with several children so the pool does get crowded. The pool area is nice with several tables and lounges for seating. We did like the location as we cold walk to several restaurants that were close and we had a perfect place to walk to the beach to enjoy the beach and sunsets. The condo is older, but does have a well stocked kitchen and was comfortable. This condo was all that we needed.

Disaster

We did not end up staying here, upon arrival, we noticed someone had left their very disturbing and disgusting inappropriate belongings on the bed. The second rooms bedding was all messed up like someone had been sleeping in it. When we called the owner he was rude as we were interrupting his afternoon boating with friends, he did send a friend over to check it out, however it looked like someone had broken into the condo (through a window.) We didn’t feel safe after that, so we left. We did get our money back weeks later but it was a nightmare trying to find a hotel the busiest week out of the whole year. The condo itself was very outdated even though they had just updated the furniture before we arrived but I don’t think it helped. Unfortunately, it was just a bad experience.

Beach Getaway!

Only thing that would have been better is if there were instructions on how to use the TV’s! We could only get 1 channel in the bedroom and couldn’t figure out how to get any in the living room. We spent most of our time at the beach though so wasn’t a big deal for us! We loved our stay.

This was exactly what was described which I had no problem with. My family really enjoyed our time together only thing I wanted to comment on were the beds and pillows very uncomfortable. I know with inflation, prices have nearly tripled for most of everything we buy but, at same time for what the rates are all along the gulf coast I just would have wanted a comfortable bed for my children as well ourselves.

Need more transparency.

We had some criticism of cleanliness of unit. Contacted manager and had quick resolution (return of cleaning fee-hair in shower & bed; blood-stained mattress). We have previously stayed in VRBO properties and had paper towel and adequate toilet paper. If these are not included, clearer explanation would have been nice. For 3 people to have only had 1 & 1/5th rolls of TP provided seems penny wise and pound foolish (unit advertised as sleeping 7). To have to run to the store for TP seemed ridiculous. It would have been nice to have beach accoutrements (simple things like portable chairs & beach toys). We flew to destination and can't bring ourselves. And while we were aware that beach towels were not included, that would have been a nice touch. Great pool and close beach benefits.

Unit was clean, well stocked with utensils, appliances, and towels. Roger and his assistants were quick to respond and provide assistance with the TV Cable provider. Discovered excellent restaurants within walking distance, and location was convenient to ever need.

Spriing Break at the Friendly Native

We really enjoyed our stay at the Friendly Native with its location close to restaurants, stores and of course the beach. The condo was clean neat and fully equipped with every thing needed for a great week in the sun. Roger was great to work with as he responded immediately when I needed to get an extra parking pass for some friends who visited with us. The kitchen comes fully stocked and even had a dishwasher to take care of the mess when we ate in. Yes its a bit dated as stated in the overview but it was very comfortable clean and spacious for our 10 days of Florida fun.
