Ground Floor Remodeled Unit On The Beaches In Florida >NO DAMAGE FROM HURRICANE

Located at The Fiddler, a/k/a Fiddler on the Beach, and a/k/a The Happy Fiddler Condos, our beautifully remodeled condo is on the ground floor flat and opens onto the grass yard and beach. All ages will find it very comfortable, with no stairs or steps in the unit. Sliding doors open to a large lawn adjacent to the beach. The beach-side swimming pool is just steps away and has many sun loungers. It is heated to 84 year round. The kitchen and bathrooms have granite tops and stainless steel appliances. TV sets in each bedroom and the living room. There is a nearby ground floor parking with a reserved space, just outside your door which makes it very easy to load and unload . There is also your own private washer and dryer in the unit. You also have your own terrace and lawn furniture to sit around and have your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

Only a few short months after sustaining damage from two hurricanes we were very pleased with not only the conditions of the condo but the entire complex. The owner was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The condo had everything needed for an extended and pleasurable stay. Already looking forward to next year.

The place was exactly as listedbut as a bonus there were more outside beach/pool accessories and a wagon to carry it all in, which was great as we had two young children with us. The place was clean, beds comfy, laundry in the unit was a plus. Pool was clean, warm & never crowded. Walkable to some of our favorite restaurants (slyce, etc).

Week in the sun

The property is well situated on a gorgeous stretch of beach. It is an older property and a bit dated but functional. We arrived at 6 p.m. when the management office was closed and it was a bit of a hassle to get the keys as they didn't respond to their phone number listed for emergencies until the third time we called. When traveling with an 86 year old, this was frustrating.

Felt like I was home

Overall this rental was lovely. Another reviewer mentioned that it is dark. The furniture is a darker wood finish, but there is ample ceiling and lamp lighting in addition to large patio sliding doors and bedroom windows that let in natural light. The mattresses and bedding were some of the most comfortable I've slept on. The unit is very well equipped with towels and everything we were looking for in the kitchen. In addition, the rental was spacious, and we were very happy that it was quiet. We were never disturbed by loud tenants. Our daughter and I were both rehabbing from leg fractures and surgeries. The pool was so convenient and comfortable to use for aqua-jogging. This was a huge bonus for us! We were able to walk to some places to eat and spent a lot of time walking the beach, which was not at all crowded during our stay. Probably the only negative is a very minor thing. We were able to find only 2 wash clothes. There were so many bath and hand towels but not enough wash cloths for the 4 of us staying there. This is a beautiful location with easy access to the beach and pool with no stairs involved. We definitely recommend.

What a beautiful location! Miles of flat , easily walkable beach right outside the front door. Gorgeous sunsets every day. The Condo and other facilities were exactly what the listing showed. It was just perfect for us.

Fabulous beach!

The pool was wonderful
 large & warm and the beach is great. Our unit however was disappointing. There was no door wall screen so you couldn’t leave it open to get the ocean breeze. It has very bad lighting and the throw rugs were filthy. I put them under the bed while we were there to not have to walk on them. The managers are not professional or courteous. The first day ok, but when we had a problem that we asked about he had a bad attitude.

winter get away

Totally enjoyed our 2 week stay. The managers are really nice and spend a lot of time caring for the property. Awesome small patio and grass yard adjacent to the beach and pool. Incredible front row seat to amazing sunsets! Very good selection of restaurants within walking distance and the trolly stops are very close to Fiddlers. Its an older crowd at these condo's, but then so are we!!!! Thank you host for allowing us the use of your condo.

The listing does not do this place justice! It is absolutely perfect - just steps from the beach which was great for my 99-year-old father; in spite of the chilly temps, Mom and I enjoyed the heated pool! Inside is a bit dated, but we didn’t care because we didn’t go for the furnishings. A++!! ❀

Great vacation spot!

This condo was great! It being on the bottom floor we did not have to worry about stairs. The pool is just off to the right and it’s only a few steps to the beach. The beach area was not crowded. It’s a great place to have fun, but relax.

Great location, well stocked with essentials

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only shortcoming was lack of beach chairs. Only one usable chair ( plus one totally broken one). Advised on site manager and she lent us two of her own chairs for use for one day but needed them back. She promised to email owner to determine how to resolve ( buy and reimburse?). We never heard back so we purchased two chairs which we left at the unit.

This condo was perfect. It had everything we needed including beach chairs! Full kitchen, living room, laundry and cozy bedrooms. Steps from the beach. Sunset view right outside the patio. My nieces & I needed a “get away”. Very tastefully decorated with a wonderful, yet private view. Owner had thought of everything to make our stay nice. I love the old Florida feel of Indian Rocks Beach. Don’t change anything. I’ll be back.

Perfect Location!

We had a great stay! We have stayed at several condos at this location but needed to get a bottom floor unit to accommodate my Mom who is there with me part of the time. We were afraid that NOT having the 2nd floor view would be a problem but it wasn't!! We were able to just walk out the back door each evening to watch an amazing sunset (and an amazing sunset it was EVERT NIGHT)!! They have PLENTY of towels & while I didn't need the washer/dryer it is really a nice amenity for those who travel a long distance & want to pack minimally... Plenty of Pots/pans/dishes!! We loved that there was a Keurig as well...:) I did have a minor issue with the garbage disposal that the property managers fixed immediately (but it wouldn't have been the end of the world if they didn't). The property managers are very attentive to whatever you need which is another BONUS.. & did I mention that the POOL is immaculate?? Just Perfect.. . I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!

Exactly as hoped for

This listing is as described. Location, location, location - three most important things for us. Right on Indian Rocks Beach and you can walk out the door to the beach or pool. Condo was pretty quiet, heard very little from other neighbors. It was well equipped, and beds were comfortable. One suggestion for the owners, need a cupboard to put food in while staying there (maybe condense some cups and glasses to open up one up) it was just what we were looking for: a place to relax on the beach!

Very comfortable condo with everything you’ll need for a great vacation. If you enjoy cooking, Kitchen well stocked with cookware and dishes , plenty of beach chairs and location is in a perfect place on the beach. Will be going back soon.
