We had a wonderful stay here! The place is exactly as pictured and it was great to be right on the beach. We had bad luck with the weather (end of January but it was colder than normal and stormy on one day of our visit) but it was still a lovely view even when you're cozy inside. The location is convenient to so many things- don't miss the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary just down the road! Parking and check-in were easy and the amenities were exactly as described. We hope to stay here again sometime when the weather is a little warmer!

Great location

The location was perfect, right on the beach! We traded luxury for the location and it was worth it to us. The unit was clean but tiny and very basic. The kitchenette is equipped with the essentials but no extras like coffee or filters, etc. No beach towels, or umbrellas. Chairs are on a first come first serve basis for the entire complex so get up early to stake your claim or bring your own. The unit is very small, smaller than it appears in the pictures. It was fine for two of us for a couple of days but it would be very tight with 4 people. We don’t spend much time Inside, so we would stay again, for a casual, low key getaway.

We'll never stay anywhere else

This was honestly the best rental we have stayed in on IRB. We liked it so much, we canceled our reservation for September and booked this unit instead. My only complaints were the bright spot light outside of the bedroom door, we had to use our beach towels to block out the light, and the AC units are right next to the sitting balcony sitting area, so the sound of those when they are running blocked out the sound of the ocean which was a little bit of a bummer, but the view makes up for it. Also the chairs for the 1st floor units looked way more comfortable than the chairs for the 2nd floor. I wish we had had the more comfortable chairs to enjoy our patio area. But these are small issues compared to some we have experienced at other rentals. We felt completely at home, there was not one thing that our unit lacked, and the property is so well maintained and beautiful, we were just so happy to be there!

We stayed in unit #5, the room, the building, the view was perfect. The room was clean. Everything was exactly as advertised. Loved the small building and only 8 units so not a lot of people. Will definitely be back!

Check-in went smoothly. Check-in is right at 4pm, no opportunity for earlier check-in, so plan accordingly. Neighbors can be loud. Otherwise, no problems.

Beautiful!

Seriously amazing! The place was so clean and a perfect little walk to the beach and it was quiet. It had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be booking this again if we have another trip to FL. We never had any problems but the owners did reach out the day after check in just to make sure all was well. I thought that was super great of them.

Great beachfront location, mediocre accommodations

The beachfront is amazing however the room we stayed in was a bit run down. Old flat cushions, worn furniture, no coffee maker or tea pot for coffee or hot water, burnt out light bulbs and very tiny sleeping area. I probably wouldn't stay here again as I feel there are better accommodations on the beach for less.

Truly Steps From the Beach

Bungalow Beach Place exceeded our expectations. What a gorgeous property. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and updated, the kitchen had everything we needed, the unit was quiet, everything worked just fine. We particularly enjoyed the use of beach chairs and umbrellas and the fire pit! This beach has the fine sand that doesn't hurt your feet, the water was great for swimming. We had a very short trip and wished we stayed longer. Found a fun little bar and grill nearby - The Dog and Parrot, within easy walking distance. Also there's a little store that was also super close that had aloe for my husbands unfortunate sunburn (oops - Midwesterners haha) and some fun little souvenirs-Indian Shores Food Mart. Thanks so much for the wonderful getaway!
