Summary:
This rustic waterview 1BR space features a semi-private beach on Boca Ciega Bay (shared with guests in adjacent courtyard studio and front 2BR unit), queen bed, wood floor, shower/large tub with galvanized walls, and separate powder room. Full kitchen. In a historic home with expansive yard and a retreat feel but adjacent to restaurants, bars, beach and shopping of downtown Gulfport.

The Space:
Enormous backyard with semi-private beach on Boca Ciega Bay!! Enjoy the peace of sand and sea, fishing, shore birds and sea life, AND restaurants, shops, live music, Art Walks, farmer's market just steps away.

The small studio on the west side of the courtyard -the annex- is available to rent if you have additional guests. It has a bathroom, sleeping/living area with queen bed, dresser, a small table, chairs, TV and couch.

Guest Access:
Beach and yard shared with guests in front unit and adjacent courtyard studio. There is a simple, medium sized, portable charcoal grill for use that is guest maintained. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water in the courtyard. Also, a patio table, chairs and umbrella is in the courtyard.

The Neighborhood:
Amazing restaurants, farmers market, art walks, fishing, kayaking- all steps away.

Getting Around:
You can walk to fabulous restaurants, eclectic shops and boutiques, farmers market, art walk and more! Hop in your car and be at St/ Pete Beach or elegant downtown St. Pete in about 10-15 minutes. There is a trolley to take you out to beach if you prefer not to drive.

Interaction with Guests:
We are occasionally on the property supervising maintenance. Our great team is available should you need anything.

This charming and quirky rental is just as described. Old Florida charm, and the location is excellent: right on the bay, next to a lovely little park, and close to the downtown action. Will stay there again!

Walking from the rental across the park toward O'Maddy's, great food and happy hour spot.
A walk on the pier for a beautiful sunset.

Amazing !

My guests and I loved our stay ! The property is very cute and great for pictures and casual lounging. The little town within walking distance has everything you need besides a large commercial store and is also very cute. Any issues or concerns were answered immediately and very professionally. I loved staying here and would definitely come back or recommend to others !

Gulfport getaway

We booked this as it was close to our home while it was being refurnished due to the hurricanes. The location is absolutely fantastic! We came with our pups and they had the BEST time the one afternoon me and my partner sat on the deck chairs and watched our pups run after one another in the water and through the trees on the beach. It really was magical waking up each morning and seeing the fog on the water and the beautiful sunsets on the evening. The dogs were so happy, they even had an outdoor shower with doggy shampoo to wash them down with afterwards! Very thoughtful. Our unit was beach themed and quaint complete with roku and internet and full kitchen etc. The house is next to the veterans park which we walked through each morning and the restaurants and cafes were so close everything is within walking distance. My partner just said it was like a little slice of paradise ! 100% recommend.

Owners sent a message that thier would be a code, no code, key under mat. So unsafe! The locks are old would advise not to leave anything of important in house. Single woman with dog but was not advised a man lived there too with his dog and would be coming out and staring at you. He can look in your back windows. Probably has a key. Bed sheet and quilt were so thin and cheap and bed uncomfortable. The shower was inside a large tub that you need srairs to get into. If you want to fish or swim not there because there is a sand bar. Better to go to a actual beach and walk to the pier. No communication with owners for hours about code/key. Terrible.

Quaint and rustic gem

We had a great time with our pup at this place! He was able to play in the water at the small beach behind the property a little bit when the tide was up. There is also a huge backyard! The stairs entering the unit are a bit steep so not a great stay for older dogs, but other than that, we loved the location! The shower/tub is unique but also could be a bit difficult for folks that don’t stretch and bend like they used to. Would stay again!

Quiet, quaint little place to stay close to the beach. I stayed by myself and was able to walk to the beach, coffee and quickly Lyft/uber if needed elsewhere or to the airport! Very cute!

Fireworks Extravaganza

This property is exactly what we expected. We stayed here because the fireworks were being displayed right off the shoreline. The view was amazing and everything we wanted. The only thing I would want vacationers to know is that the property is not actually "beachfront" but rather "bay" front. It is on Bocca Ceiga Bay. If you're not concerned with that you should really enjoy your stay.

Good location. Unit unconventional, needs work.

Nice location. Unit is next to a small park, at the waterfront and at the edge of the town. Short drive to St. Petersburg. Entrance is at rear of the building. Backyard is a long narrow lot leading to a small beach on the bay. Beach is maybe 100 yards from the unit. Yard gives overgrown appearance. Steps up to unit feature a rickety hand rail. Screen door just flaps. Inside the floor is well worn unfinished wood strips with some gaps. Some slats are misssing from narrow venetian blinds making privacy an issue.. [My wife or daughters would not have stayed here because of lack of privacy.] No door to bedroom making it open to the rest of the living area. Unique features include a large soaking tub with a great shower at the center of the unit separated from the main living area only by a shower curtain. Also, the TV sits on a rectangular cut out of the wall so that it can be viewed from the living area and turned around to be watched from the bedroom.

eclectic space

nice and cozy eclectic property out of the 1920's look and feel. needs new blinds in the front windows as they were all broken in some fashion. we had a nice stay with great local restarants and shops very close. Beach was small and messy with some kind of algae but it was too cold to swim anyway but it was still nice to sit by the water and listen to the local band at a nearby place. GREAT backyard for a dog!
