Tidewater Retreat was planned and renovated with your vacation in mind. The goal was to provide a place of retreat for families, friends, and couples to enjoy this unique island and each other! You will love the fresh coastal colors used throughout the cottage.
The property can be rented as separate units or all together. Pricing on this vrbo page is for one side of the duplex. See our other VRBO page for the second side #801957,
Tidewater Retreat offers top of the line kitchen appliances, quartz counter tops, new heating and AC, new floors, all new furniture. New memory foam mattresses, plush linens, Flat screen televisions in living area and queen bedroom. We have multiple usb outlets for charging phones, tablets or laptops. Each side has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Each side has its own outdoor grillling area.
You cannot beat the location. You can walk to many restaurants, Crabtrap, Crab Daddy's, Boulevard Cafe, Beachcomber BBQ, Echo at the King and Prince. The beach is just a 5 minute stroll down a shady quiet street. There is a bike rental shop at Ocean Motion two blocks away.

Great Location

We loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants & the brewery, as well as the beach and King & Prince. It's a short drive south to the pier and north to Redfern Village areas (more restaurants). The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay there again!

Perfect for first visit to St Simons

This unit was very nice for our first trip to St Simons. It is close to the beach as noted in the description and also walking distance to multiple restaurants (Fiddlers was our favorite). We had a short stay (3 nights), but this unit would work well for a longer stay. Unit was clean and well equipped. The owner went above and beyond when she shipped an item we left behind to us (we reimbursed the cost). This was much appreciated!

Girls Trip

We stayed here for our girls trip this year and this property was super cute and in a PERFECT location. It was close to restaurants and was within a short walk to the beach. The property was clean and check in and out was super easy due to a code lock, and we barely had to do anything to check out. Communication was great. We had to call once because we accidentally flipped a fuse(girls and their hairdryers😆) and couldn’t find the box to flip it back. The owner answered the phone on the second ring and was there to fix it in less than 5 minutes. She was so nice about it! I would gladly stay here again, and would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone visiting SSI! We had a great time and it was perfect for our trip!

Cute duplex in great location!

My spouse and I enjoyed our stay in this sweet single floor duplex that was just a short walk to the beach. Living space was comfortable and had all of the amenities of home. We had everything we needed to start off our vacation. Despite it being a duplex, you could not hear any noise from next door. The unit was close to a number of restaurants, shops and the beach. There was an umbrella and chairs available for our use but we opted to rent from in front of the Kings and Prince Resort so we didn’t have to carry them back and forth. There was a place to rent bikes just up the street too. Great place to stay in a great location!
