Guests can walk the beach at high tide.
The pool can be heated upon request! 72 hours notification is required and a pool heat fee of $40 plus tax per day must be paid prior to check-in.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 40 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful house and wonderful location!

We could not have asked for a better house for our family vacation this year! The location is incredible, the beach and pool and amazing (so close and so clean). The house was so much fun - the kids loved the decor and the working juke box. Everything was spotless, every single part of the house. Plenty of extra towels for bathroom and beach, kitchen is well equipped for any kind of cooking you may want to do, and there were plenty of soaps for the bathrooms and kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Florida’s best kept secret

Navarre Beach is our favorite place to vacation and Blue Vue made it awesome. The house was well equipped to meet the needs of our large family. We spent the majority of our time together at the pool. It was awesome! Thank you Blue Vue!

Emil Cottage

Arrived at the Cottage and found the tiny lock box with the door key in an odd position. Opened the box and the key fell to the ground where we could not reach it. Literally had to crawl under the house to retrieve the key. There were very limited supplies of paper towels and toilet paper. One bathroom had less than 20 sheets on the top and no stock anywhere. The only cleaning solution for countertops was a stainless steel cleaner. No Windex or spray cleaners at all. The left side of the kitchen sink leaks water into the lower cabinet then onto the floor. The 3rd level has a roof or window leak when it rains, lots of water coming in. The Cottage itself was nice. Decorated nicely. Beds were great. Everything was clean. Location is fantastic. Housekeeping staff arrived one hour before checkout and entered without knocking. They waited for us to leave at the unit next door. We enjoyed our stay and despite the above issues we would stay again.

Fantastic, Fun & Fabulous

The owner/host has presented a meticulously maintained, clean and exceptionally well provisioned beach house. The unique decor which is carried throughout the entire home creates a special beach vibe for all of the guests. The home is appointed with high end appliances (the ice maker was wonderful) lots of towels for bath & beach, AC worked very well despite the heat/humidity. The home was remarkably clean in its entirety. One of our best VRBO stays ever!

Enjoyed the house. I think the stairs might be a problem for some. But the biggest issue was noise level of college kids renting in neighborhood until the wee hours everyday. We reported and complained. But we had four nights of interrupted sleep.

Girls’ Weekend 2023

We had a blast. The place is so cute, quaint and quirky. Lots of little nuances to get used to but easy to do. It was so spacious and roomy with a lot of places to hang out. The crows nest at night was incredible. We even got to see a satellite launch AND a fireworks show. Awesome!

Family vacation

We had a great time at the Emil Cottage. Plenty of room for everyone. Large family areas for gathering. Decor was really cool. Property was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at Emil Cottage! The home was very clean with nice furnishings. The kitchen was adequately stocked for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable for the most part. There is a 150 lb weight limit for the top bunk beds and this should be stated in the listing to help insure adequate bed space. We loved the beach, the community and the pools!! One of the AC units went out on our last day in the home. We phoned the management as soon as we became aware, 6 pm. They assured me someone would call me or show up at the house. I had to call them back at 9 pm since I hadn’t heard from anyone. They told me the repairman wouldn’t be there until the next day, after our check out. We were trying to rest before a 12 hour drive and the bedroom was 82 degrees!

Wonderful house

10 of us stayed here the for a week including family from Georgia and New Jersey. The house was perfect and absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough about how charming this house is. Absolutely loved the jukebox. The kitchen was the best stocked we have ever experienced. Highly recommend. BTW if you are renting a golf cart, get gas rather than electric. There is nowhere to charge. Took a few weeks to get that answer from Vacasa. Just want to save others the trouble.

Great Family Beach Stay

This is our 3rd stay at the Coastal Cottage homes in St Simons... we love it! House was great, we loved all the eclectic art! Good location, very short walk to the pool and private beach access. we will be coming back next year for sure!

Great vacation spot

This house and trip was amazing. The house is very interesting and fun. Kitchen is over stocked which is a good thing! The eclectic style of the home made it so much fun. We had 5 adults and 2 teenagers in the house, and there was room for more. There are ALOT of stairs in this style cottage so keep that in mind if you don't want to be climbing steps to get around. It was a short walk to the beach and pool, perfect for what we were looking for. We really enjoyed this stay and would go back again!

Emil Cottage Stay

Such a cute home with fun decor! We loved the ice machine and large kitchen for cooking. The view from the rooftop deck was beautiful! We also loved the covered entry porch to drop shoes and coolers.

Did not expect this place to be so big! Amazing decor and theme! Massive kitchen and lounge area. 3 different patio areas, plus a crows nest! 2 parking spaces available in front. And overflow is literally a 3min walk away. Will definitely come back!
