The condo worked very well for two families. There was ample space for us to spread out and a dedicated spot by the unit door to hang our gear and get ready in the morning. The shared outdoor space and private hot tub was a very nice amenity. We never saw the other unit that shared that space, which was a bonus. The location was an easy walk to the gondola and the shuttle to the gondola was pretty regular when we had ski equipment to carry. The on-demand shuttle at Trappeur's Lodge that we used to get into town was generally very reliable, but there were times the wait for it was in excess of 30 minutes around dinner time. The management company was also very responsive. My one minor complaint was the garbage and recycling bin in the unit. They are too small for 8 people using a kitchen. They fill up quickly, they sit between the kitchen and living room, they don't have covers, and you have to call and request housekeeping to take them away or bring them to the parking garage for disposal. A larger under the sink garbage can or even a garbage with a lid that closes would be a small investment and make the place feel cleaner. Why there isn't daily garbage pick up from house keeping is also a missed opportunity to create a better experience for guests as well.
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Trappeurâs Crossing Resort. Booking and check-in were easy. The beds were comfortable and linens and towels were nice. Kitchen was adequately equipped. We would definitely stay there again.
Such a beautiful condo and we LOVED the private deck with hot tub and fire pit. Great location within walking distance of the base of the mountain. We can't wait to visit again!
