Welcome to Cimarron #15, an exquisite 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom luxury townhome located just one walkable block from the base of Steamboat Resort. This spacious retreat offers over 3,200 square feet of elegant mountain living for up to 14 guests. For convenience, the full-size laundry area is also located on this level. The primary suite awaits on the main level, featuring a king-size bed, gas fireplace, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a dual-sink vanity, soaking tub, and walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms are located on the entry level. The second with a king bed and walk-in shower, and the third offering two sets of twin-over-full bunks and a shower/tub combo. On the lower level, you'll find the fourth and fifth bedrooms. The fourth offers a second bunk room with two sets of twin-over-full bunks while the fifth provides a queen bed The fourth and fifth bedrooms share access to a bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo.

The main level boasts soaring ceilings and large windows that flood the space with natural light. The open-concept layout connects the gourmet kitchen, dining area, and great room—perfect for gathering and entertaining. A convenient powder room is located just off the main living space. Step out onto the private deck to enjoy the hot tub, gas firepit, and outdoor seating—ideal for soaking in the mountain air year-round. Great spot for a ski trip!

The house was great! We loved the game loft, hot tub, and it was very convenient to walk to and from the slopes. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our group of 14. Would stay again!

Nice House in a Good Location

House worked well for our 10-member extended family. We enjoyed the extra space of the game room. It was a short walk to the slopes and the ski resort shops. We all enjoyed our stay.

Family winter vacation

The house is beautiful, well maintained, and in a perfect location. It is a very easy walk to the base of the mountain. The shuttle service to and from the mountain is also excellent. The property manager was extremely helpful! I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Home Perfect Location

The Flying Z was the perfect choice for our vacation. The home is beautiful with more than enough space for a large family and/or friends. The location is perfect, an easy walk to the slopes and several restaurants. We used the property shuttle on multiple occasions to go into town. JJ, our favorite driver, was very accommodating. John, the property manager, was wonderful and easily accessible. I can not recommend this property enough.

Great ski trip with family and friends

This property was the perfect place to stay with our family of 5 and another family of 5 for a late season ski trip. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The kids spent most of their time up in the loft, playing games and taking turns with the massage chair. The view of the mountain out of the large windows was one of the highlights compared to other rentals in the area. Super easy to get ahold of the property manager if we needed anything. Would highly recommend!

Overall great experience. This property works so well with our family. We love the close proximity to the ski slopes. We have stayed at Cimmaron properties before but never this unit. It has become the favorite of this family.

The Perfect Place!

Cimarron #15 was perfect for our group of 11 - three families including kids ages 10-16. The proximity to the base can't be beat. The house was comfortable and inviting. Convenience of the shuttle service is a big plus. Property manager is A+. Highly recommend.

Perfect Ski Vacation

Extremely nice condo just minutes from the gondola. Top of the line amenities. We skied all day and played pool, xbox, shuffleboard, and ping pong (heated garage) all night. 5 minute walk to the gondola or take the private shuttle that runs every 10 min. Hot tub and deck was awesome. Will stay here again next time in Steamboat.

So easy, so comfortable and perfect for a large group!

The Flying Z was so awesome for our large group and skiing after the holidays. It felt so homey with amazing views of the mountain to relax after a long day. The proximity to the gondola and mountain made it so easy for everyone. People could ski when they wanted, leave when they wanted and allowed flexibility for everyone in our large group. And, John was so responsive to every need we had. We loved it and would definitely recommend to others!

December Stay at Flying Z, Cimarron

The property is very-well maintained and extremely convenient. Kitchen is well-equipped and there is plenty of seating in the living/dining area. The ten members of our family (six adults and four teenagers) were quite comfortable for the week of our stay. The property manager, John McClure, is terrific! Our only complaint was the lack of a second bathroom on the lowest level. We certainly would recommend the Flying Z as a great vacation rental in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Super convenient and very nice place!

We stayed here with 3 families of 4 and it had everything we needed! There is on demand shuttle, a private hot tub, ability to walk to the gondola in a few minutes, coffee and groceries close by, lots of room for 6 kids (could have slept 8 kids), heated garage and room for 3 cars, super nice massage chair, shuffle board, and to top it off, an exercise room and pool for the complex! The king and queen mattresses were a little bit soft and cushy for some of the group, but the overall experience was very enjoyable and we all agreed we would go back. The property manager, John, was very responsive and helpful!

A+ Ski House - Location, location, location.

Location, location, location. The house is a 10-minute walk from the Gondola base and is a 5-minute walk to one of Steamboat’s best restaurants La Montagne. In fact, we had so much fresh powder the week we were there, we soon figured out how to ski directly off the slopes to the front door. The grocery stores and the ski rental shops are close by, and the free shuttle stops in front of the house every 15 minutes, or as requested. The beautiful house easily accommodated our extended family of 15. There were even a couple of empty beds and no lines at the bathrooms. The main floor with its open space, warm fireplace, cathedral ceilings and spacious loft was always the gathering place each evening. The pool table in the loft was always busy. We loved the heated floors and the open kitchen layout. For meals the family would gather near the kitchen while sitting at the breakfast buffet or looking on from the living room. The hot tub is on the main floor’s deck and has great views of Christie Peak and across the Yampa Valley for the sunsets. Because of the location of this house at the end of a row, its views are awesome. Still, all of that is what anyone would expect for a high-end rental home in a beautiful ski resort. Here’s what brought our rental property experience from an, A to an A+ week: the details. I could go on for pages listing and describing the exceptionally thoughtful and pleasantly surprising details. Having constant access to a responsive, patient and talented on-site caretaker was great (John, you made everything easy and smooth). The kitchen was stocked full of basic food staples (spices, sugar, olive oil etc.). There was an abundance high quality platters, baking, cooking and serving utensils. The appliances and equipment, everything needed for complex gourmet meals for a big crowd, was available, quality and attractive. In fact there were cupboards stocking many, many more glassware, silverware etc. than needed for our crowd of 15, which made meals and cleanup easy. Small details such as first aid kits, plenty of extra towels, and a humidifier in each bedroom were great. The sheets and blankets were top quality (loved the Crate and Barrel sheepskin blankets in the kids’ rooms.) The entrance offers plenty of cubbies for outerwear and helmets. I could go on and on. But you get the message. The house is fantastic: beautiful, inviting, comfortable, accessible. Enjoy!
