Waterfront location by a marina was beautiful. The place is welcoming with a bright, cozy living area. Rooms were clean and spacious, bathrooms modern, kitchen, grill, and deck to enjoy. Had a great experience overall.

This IS an AMAZING home! It is very clean, very comfortable and has beautiful views. Thirteen of our family members stayed here to celebrate Christmas. Our stay was perfect! The king size beds in every room made for a good nights rest. Our host was welcoming and responded to any questions. The property manager, Louie, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. Thank you both for everything!

The grounds are family-friendly and the location is excellent. However, the main house and the cottages are unsafe. The floors on both levels of the main house are sagging and sloped. The bottom bracket of an upstairs window is broken, causing the entire window to push out and creating enough space for a child to fit through. The property manager was notified of this hazard, but he never got back to us. The overall cleanliness of the living quarters is unsatisfactory, especially in the cottages. The wiring in the cottages has been jury-rigged, and wires are hanging out. No matter how long the water in the cottages is run, the temperature never gets above tepid. The septic mounds for three of the cottages are open holes covered by tarps, so there is a strong smell. Also, the TV's in the cottages do not work, and the internet connection is weak. There are other misleading statements in the VRBO description. No captain is available for a boat ride to Sandy Point Island. Some of the kayaks and paddle boards have leaks. There are only a few life jackets, and those are in disrepair and outdated.

Unfortunately the property was not as expected. The communication was very great from the beginning. Even after hitting extra traffic the manager came and brought our groceries inside and put away cold items. We were very excited and looking forward to our arrival at this point. Upon arrival there was a note on the table that two of the cottages were without water as well as one of the showers not working inside of the big house. A note. Not a phone call or message or a heads up. There were two holes in the front windows, a hole in the wall and a barely functioning lock on the back door. When I spoke to the owner he offered to put two of the couples in a hotel next door. Upon arrival one of the hotels had a leak and one of the couples was so disgusted they left. I then continually tried to make contact with the owner and never received a response and had to file a claim with VRBO.

We were a group of 12 friends celebrating a getaway weekend together and found this wonderful compound. We all enjoyed ourselves in the primary house, which had enough rooms for the 6 couples and also had four little cottages for those wanting a bit more privacy and their own bathroom. The house was extremely clean and comfy, with all the amenities a large group needed. We were immediately greeted by the property manager, who stopped in a couple of times to check in on us. The house has two living rooms and two dining rooms, both of which are large enough to accommodate our large party. Plenty of room to eat and to play games on. Each bedroom in the main house was very spacious, and the decor was nice. Outside had a nice deck with an extra-large picnic table, a firepit with outdoor seating, and a small BBQ that we used. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, as a downpour canceled plans to sit by the fire. The location of the property was close enough to downtown Mystic and its shops, as well as to Foxwoods and Mohegan casinos. Highly recommend the Red Rooster for your breakfast needs and Dog Watch for a fun dinner spot. Couple of suggestions for the home owner/property manager..1. Gutters over the backdoor. The heavy downpour had going in and out of the house like running through a car wash. 2. some kind of runner or matt for the backdoor, we used a bath towel to put down during the rain as people were coming in and out getting the kitchen floor wet

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful house with four cottages for our wedding party, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views of the sound captivated everyone. The serene waters, rolling hills in the distance, and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere set the perfect tone for a memorable celebration. The house itself was stunning—spacious, yet cozy, with modern amenities that didn’t take away from the charming, rustic feel of the place. Each of the four cottages was well-appointed, offering a comfortable, private space for our guests to unwind. Whether we were gathering in the main house for meals or retreating to our own little cottages for quiet time, everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was definitely the easy access to boating and kayaking. The sound provided a perfect backdrop for early morning paddles and relaxing boat rides, and we were able to spend hours enjoying the water with friends and family. The host even offered us kayaks and a small boat, making it incredibly convenient. The property was impeccably maintained, and the attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the lush gardens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchens. Our wedding party couldn’t stop talking about how perfect everything was—this location truly exceeded all our expectations. It’s rare to find a venue that combines the convenience of modern accommodations with the charm and beauty
