DESCRIPTION: 2 bed 2 bath located in the Borough of historical Stonington CT. Large open floor and soaring ceilings. The property offers a courtyard with firepit, water feature and comfortable lounge area. Open grounds for your enjoyment and pet benefit. Large deck offers dining for 6 with umbrella, grill and lounge area.

Kori Kottage has just been added to our luxury portfolio of homes in picturesque Stonington, Ct. Rich in history and loaded with small town charm, Stonington Borough is not like other coastal destinations. The pace is slower. It's a bit quieter. There's less traffic. It's a place where a leisurely stroll down Water Street, past eclectic shops, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants, leads you to a magnificent sunset and an old stone lighthouse.

This home features a bright and open floor plan with beautiful natural light. Soaring ceilings with contemporary architecture lend itself to a perfect modern cottage. Amenities include a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, pantry, coffee maker and Keurig, and dining for 6. A brand new HVAC/Central Air/ Hyper Heat System installed. The home is designed to offer a fun relaxing atmosphere. You can have a fun night of Karaoke with your friends and family. The home has a stage with Karaoke station that you can link your music to. There is a work station complete with a smart wireless printer copier.

The outside areas offer a courtyard with new landscaping complete with a water feature, fire pit and lounge area. You can also enjoy the large back deck complete with lounge area and dining area for 6 with an Umbrella for shade. Here you will find the new grill for outdoor dining. Dinnerware included to host alfresco. Enjoy a brand new an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water) located in the back under the deck. There is a Washer and Dryer on the first floor for your convenience.

KITCHEN AND DINING:
The new kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, quartz top, soft close cabinets and drawers. There is a large pantry to include spices and basic items, coffee maker and Keurig, blender, toaster, tea kettle, and lobster pot for your fresh seafood creations! The dining table accommodates 6 guests as well as an outdoor dining table with an umbrella for shade. Brew some coffee in the morning and step onto your private balcony off your bedroom or the beautiful deck with water views and salty air.

LOUNGING AND LIVING SPACES: Indoor or outdoor comfortable living spaces with plenty of seating for all. (The blue wood stove is decorative only)

OUTDOOR LIVING:
Fresh air outdoor showers are a vacationers dream! Start your day or end it with a lovely outdoor shower. The new propane grill can be fired up at a moments notice for a quick or gourmet meal. Gather around the fire pit for more outdoor conversation and star gazing as you enjoy in the private backyard.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
This home is fully equipment to ensure a stress-free, relaxing vacation. Linens are provided to include sheets for all beds and bath towels. You only need to bring your beach towels. The home has Bluetooth Harmon Karmom stereo speakers, high speed wifi (1G), beach chairs, beach umbrella, start up paper supplies, and parking in the private driveway for 4 cars.

Try your talent and have some fun and laughs with the Karaoke Station! Wind down after a full day of sight seeing, beach combing, shopping, exploring, gambling, or kayaking and sing some of your favorite tunes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Covid 19 Precautionary Measures: Homeowner has contracted a Linen Company with an upgraded package to include sheets, bath towels, hand towels, and kitchen towels delivered for each reservation. This is free of charge to the renter. The cleaning company is spending more time in each home to sanitize.

Beautiful grounds, outdoor seating with a water fountain, and fenced in yard, perfect for our dogs. Inside was larger than expected, very clean and everything we needed. Only down fall would be the comfort of the furniture. The chairs were very comfy but the couch and bed we found we hard, and the pillows were very thick, it bothered our neck. Other than that we would love to go back there again soon when we could stay longer.

We loved the property and its location. We wanted a few days of downtime, quiet and relaxation before the school year started back up. Louis and his Kori Kottage delivered, even for our pup! It was a lovely and clean, clean, clean home. All the conveniences provided. The neighborhood is quiet but friendly. On our early morning dog walks, we encountered plenty of other friendly pet owners. We walked to the beach a bunch of times and enjoyed our sunset dinner on the patio at Dog Watch Cafe (with our pup).

Wonderful property!

Stonington is a hidden gem on the CT coast. This was the first time our family has stayed in Stonington, and we weren’t disappointed. The home is well maintained, spacious and dog friendly. The property is located in the Stonington Borough, which is filled with small-town charm and shops to explore. The beach is an easy drive, or a long walk, away. There are plenty of places to eat or attractions for the entire family in the Mystic area.What makes this experience truly unique is the owner, Louis. He was incredibly friendly and willing to offer suggestions and helpful tips to make your stay even better. During our stay, Louis had a couple of indoor/outdoor games delivered to house for us to entertain our children. Any questions we had were quickly and thoroughly answered. His suggestion to eat at the Dog Watch Cafe (in Stonington) was a hit with my family! Beautiful views, friendly service and an excellent menu made it a can’t miss.

Buyer beware. Nice home but not as described on the site. Railroad tracks next to the home with trains frequently passing by. We informed the owner ahead of time that stairs were an issue and he did not advise that bedrooms were on the 3rd floor. It seemed that he was in a hurry to book the stay. Buyer beware. Very high add-on fees that nearly doubled our costs.

We will be back!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here with our 2 dogs. Everything was immaculate and as shown in the pics. Our dogs loved the property and had a ton of fun running circles around the house. A huge perk is that it was fenced in so we had no worries about them getting out.The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The town is very walkable with cute shops, food, and a beach. We would highly recommend staying at this property. We will definitely be back!

Memorable Memorial Day weekend

In spite of a rather cold and damp weekend we loved staying in the cottage. It is beautifully appointed and has everything one needs in terms of cooking. While we could not enjoy the outdoor space because of the weather the garden areas are lovely and the deck is huge. We hope to return another time!

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property! The house was impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens that made us feel right at home. It was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need—there were more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows for everyone in our group.We did run into a small issue with the keypad halfway through our stay, but Louis was incredibly responsive and helpful. He answered our call immediately and resolved the issue while we were still on the phone—great service!Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at any of Louis’s rentals in the future. Highly recommend!

Awesome getaway home!

We had a wonderful stay! The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are pristine and SO BEAUTIFUL! It feels like stepping into a magazine! Everything from the house's layout, unique design, cleanliness, amenities to the amazing location and walkability made for a getaway we will remember forever. The owner was extremely helpful and immediately responded to any questions. Also took the time to check in to ensure we had everything we needed. Our group consists of two couples who love to travel within the US and abroad. We are knowledgable about what hosts offer and have our personal expectations. This home is clean, spacious and furnished for comfort. The beds were comfy, lots of soft towels. The house is on a safe and quiet street that is walkable to downtown. You should also walk over to the industrial boutique and cafe mall. Order a meatball pizza!

Cozy Kottage

Me and my husband and my parents spent 5 days at the Kottage. The home is beautiful, and had everything you could need. It was exceptionally clean! We went to visit nearby Mystic, and ended up falling in love with Stonington. The host was so helpful and responsive. Super pet friendly too! We will definitely be back.

Very Nice!

We were more than happy with the home, its amenities, location, size and being pet friendly with the yard all enclosed was a huge plus. Plenty of space and great outdoor furniture. We definitely recommend and plan to stay again. Owner was a pleasure to work with.

Almost perfect getaway

This is a beautiful house with many amenities. We enjoyed our stay. The yard is also great. For us, the stairs turned out to an issue because of an older dog who doesn’t like stairs. You can walk anywhere in Stonington from this house. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing!

We had a great time escaping the city with our dog to this lovely home. Pet friendly, great house stocked with everything you need, and responsive management/owner who was very helpful. Would love to stay again.

Excellent location for exploring Stonington and the surrounding area

The house is spacious and very well appointed, with very ample outdoor areas. Enjoyed the eclectic designer touches and artwork. Easy access to Water Street and most restaurants in town. Good location not only for exploring this part of CT but also nearby RI beaches such as at Watch Hill.

Great House, Owner and Location

Stonington is a very nice, small town. Went over the 4th of July weekend and the town didn't feel cramped at all. The house is a five minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. The house is very clean, and has everything you may need, as it is equipped with many details. The host is great, with clear and constant communication. Overall, would recommend the house to anyone who wants to stay in the area.
