We had a great stay, and I would give the property 4.5 if that were an option. They're currently upgrading all their rooms, and I think that will make a big difference. Our room (deluxe suite) was not upgraded yet, so the decor and furniture were somewhat dated. That said, the room was very well-maintained and clean. When factoring in what we paid compared to the "boutique" hotels in the area, it was a steal. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I loved having a full kitchen. The bathroom was also very spacious. We brought our own pillows, which I would recommend if you prefer down-filled pillows. Overall, the hotel met all of our needs. They have a complimentary continental breakfast with muffins, fruit, yogurt, and more. It was perfect. The hotel also accepts ALL pets, not just dogs. We brought our cat, and it was such a relief to be able to do that. The free shuttle to Stowe stops right outside and is a great way to get to the mountain. The staff is also the nicest ever. Really happy we stayed at Sun & Ski and will probably do it again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Sun & Ski Inn during a busy holiday weekend for skiing in Stowe. The hotel is clean, has a cool bowling alley, and it's proximity to the slopes and to all the restaurants on Mountain Road is a big plus. But it was the friendly hospitality of the front desk staff, who made us and our two dogs feel so very welcome, which made it a great experience that we will always remember. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a reasonably priced dog-friendly hotel for a stay in a lovely Vermont ski town!

We had a nice stay for two nights. The staff was welcoming, room and pool/hot tub facilities were clean and comfortable and accessing the room with the luggage cart was very easy. The continental breakfast was also a nice added touch. Would stay again!

Nicest and most helpful staff I've ever met! Wonderfully heated pool (92 degrees!), chocolate c hip cookies and tea and coffee and hot chocolate was amazing - especially after skiing all day! We loved that the shuttle was accross the street and on the way back AT the hotel. The reading + fireplace room was gorgeous. The rooms were just beautiful - SUPER modern and updated. Very comfortable stay. We will 100% be back!
