Getaway to the quiet and simple lifestyle here in Stowe and call the Harvest Farmhouse and Harvest Carriage House home for a while! Perfect for larger groups or multiple families, everyone can get their own piece of paradise by splitting up between the two homes and gathering for meals or cookouts on the deck that joins the two spaces! The Harvest House is home to a delightfully rustic interior complete with a wood stove and hardwood floors, yet the updated full kitchen, private sauna, and free WiFi will provide you with plenty of modern comforts. The two-story layout is ideal for larger groups too, as all four bedrooms call the upper-level home for separation between the living areas and sleeping areas.
Meander past the private hot tub and stylish gazebo complete with a gas grill and you will find yourself entering the Carriage House. This adorable home is the smaller of the two, yet still has a spacious interior and quaint accents that will allow you to slip into relaxation mode in no time. The main level of the home offers another full kitchen, a living area, two bedrooms, and access to two decks. The basement is home to the last bedroom in this part of the property.

Our group of college friends rented this for a second time. It works very well for us. It is nice having the larger house when we are all together, but also the smaller house when someone needs a quiet place for a Zoom meeting, without interfering with the others.
This house is old. Most of the furniture wobbles, creaks, if not broken. The bed creaked so loud with even the slightest movement. Chairs were wobbly so some were designated as only those our kids can sit on so it wouldn't collapse under an adult. Bathroom lock didn't work - so privacy wasn't guaranteed. There was a constant leak in the carriage house, and though we stayed there for 5 nights and contacted customer service multiple times, no one came. The microwave in the main house was broken. Dishwasher didn't work, and was severely stained. No showerhead in one of the bathrooms so water just sprayed out everywhere. To do laundry, you had to walk into a dungeon-like unfinished basement past cobwebs, a dilapidated bathroom, a tray of some mystery pet food or rat poison, into a far corner where only some of the machines worked. Accommodations were not a good value for the exorbitant amount we paid for a holiday weekend. On top of that, we were charged $27 just to inquire if the local staff had found a retainer upon cleaning. This exchange itself took days. I was never able to speak to a live person, only communicated through text, and they claimed it wasn't found when the exact location was given. Hot tub water had a greenish-tint so we didn't feel it was hygenic to use. Never once were any of the issues we raised on day 1 of the stay addressed. The only highlight of the stay was the company of family and friends.
