Strasbourg Stay

The hotel is a very short walk from the train station, making it very easy to get around as needed. The room we stayed was very comfortable, alas we had a room with a shower/sink in one room and toilet in the other (which was a bit of an adjustment). The bed was very comfortable and there were few noise distractions. There are some stairs involved when it comes to walking down the hallways on the floors, so that can be a caution with suitcases. Otherwise, the overall decor, vibes, and comfort of the hotel was excellent. We were unable to utilize the hotel's restaurant area for a majority of our stay, but we did try to check out the bar area one afternoon, though it was otherwise unattended.

A pleasant stay despite having a very small room

Very pleasant themed hotel with a good sauna. The room size was not so good. We booked a standard room and got a very small room which meant that we couldn’t move around the room and bathroom at the same time. This room was classified as small by the hotel and should have been described as small by Hotels.com. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts were good. Free coffee in the lounge was an extra nice touch.

What an amazing hotel. Sparkly clean, quirky and such friendly helpful staff. We loved our room, the lounge & bar were welcome. Breakfast was great. Hot drinks available 24/7 Great choice of local restaurants. Easy to access city centre. Highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Arok. The location was convenient, right across from the train station. Breakfast was outstanding, with many excellent selections. Staff were helpful and kind. Beds were ok, could be a little softer for my taste. Room was a little too warm for me (winter time). We would definitely recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel in a great location opposite the station. Nice area at reception with complimentaries too. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped and the staff were all great too.

For 3 stars it was a nice boutique hotel. My only comment was the room, it was spacious and clean however you can hear water running through the plumbing system anytime any room is using the bathroom. This didn’t matter during the day, but at night it can get annoying.

We did a self-planned Christmas Markets tour in 2024. Because we were travelling by train, our first criteria in finding a hotel was to be close to the train station so we would not need to drag our luggage a great distance. This location was perfect. Th hotel was great, staff was extremely attentive, breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.
