This bright and airy apartment occupies the second floor of a two-story building and is just a minute\'s walk from the lakeside. Situated at the end of a terrace the property enjoys balconies on two sides and comfortably sleeps four guests.

Inside, the apartment enjoys a large open-plan living space furnished with a comfortable sofa, a smart flat-screen TV, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, a dishwasher, a Mokka coffee machine and a fridge freezer. This area enjoys a cool terracotta tiled floor and leads out to a small balcony overlooking the street below, the perfect place for morning coffee whilst watching the world go by.

Location

The apartment is situated in the downtown area of the popular resort of Stresa on the shores of the Borromean Gulf on Lake Maggiore. A popular destination with European nobility in the 19th century the city enjoys many well-preserved Belle Époque-style buildings and villas.

The town’s main attractions are Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori, the Borromean Islands. This group of picturesque islands can be reached via one of the ferries in the port (a 3-minute walk away) and are known for their opulent palaces and well-manicured gardens. The nearby Mottarone mountain also provides a popular destination offering panoramic views across the Lake, visitors can take a cable car ride to the summit and enjoy hiking and skiing.

The lake-side hiking area of Passeggiata Lungo Lago is a 9-minute walk from the apartment and the local beach is a 6-minute walk away. For golfers, Golf Club Alpino di Stresa is a 14-minute drive and for nature lovers, the beautiful villas of Stresa including Park Villa Pallavicino (a 2-minute drive / 12-minute walk) are nearby and easily reachable on foot.

The closest supermarket is a 4-minute walk away and there are various boutiques, bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment.
