Great hotel. Very busy but not an issue. Enjoyed breakfast, the reason we seek out Maritim hotels. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff all very nice and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Location - very close, pleasant walk into centre with transport options nearby

The reception staff was not welcoming at Check-In (may be stressed out of work). The hotel feels dated, undergoing renovation, majorly occupied by Conferences. Not very warm or exciting hotel for a family on holiday. The ambience inside hotel feels lifeless or dull. Rooms are clean, well managed and comfortable.

There was major construction on the fifth floor, it was very unsafe to walk through the corridor and in the morning we wet blocked into our room by plastic sheeting which we struggled to get through, then to try and get luggage up the corridor was a nightmare. We complained to reception who didn’t seem to care.
