“The best Christmas ever!” my granddaughter said and we all agreed!

Shawna’s log cabin is beautiful, cozy, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in a winter wonderland, we didn’t want to leave. The gift basket was amazing, and the heated bidet was a highlight for all of us lol, we’re talking about getting one! The sauna was a treat that we used every day, my granddaughter loved rolling in the snow and then coming back inside. We only have positive feedback, our stay couldn’t have been any better, we hope to be back for more!

Wonderful and relaxing summer vacation

My husband, pup and I spent the week relaxing at Shawna's beautiful cabin. The space was so lovely - we were very impressed and would highly recommend. It was obvious that a lot of time and care went into making the space comfortable and homey for guests. The architecture of the cabin is stunning and is truly one of a kind. The sauna was an extra touch that we really enjoyed too. The cabin is in close proximity to the town and near other homes but is very private amidst a sense forested area. Thank you Shawna for being such a wonderful host. We hope to be back to enjoy this beautiful area of BC again!

The cabin was clean, with modern amenities, and very pleasant views. It is convenient to Rossland. Everything was as advertised on VRBO. Architrecture is beautiful. Carport is convenient and roomy.

Idyllic Getaway

Shawna’s beautiful cabin was perfect! Spotless, comfortable, well appointed and in a beautiful setting on 5 acres close to town and Red Mountain. She thought of everything for our stay and was super attentive when we had questions. And on top of that there was a basket full of treats to welcome us including dog cookies! We had a blast and will be back. Thanks to Shawna for all the effort to make your guests happy. Highly recommended!

Home away from home!

This log cabin is the perfect place to stay and enjoy Red Mountain and the area. The Location made our days on the hill really easy and stress free. The place was extremely clean with a very well stocked kitchen, extra comfy beds and some extra special local treats for us as well. We were very well looked after and I highly recommend Shawna as a host. Would love to come back one day soon!

Beautiful Cabin with Sauna

Our group of four adults and two medium sized dogs were very comfortable in this cabin. The host provided the most wonderful gift basket with doggo treats.Though small in a few places, the living room and dining table fit us all just fine. The sauna was an amazing addition and really elevated our stay. The property is beautiful and we even cross country skied out the front door to Blackjack Ski Club.

Home away from home

Family Ski Time

Ideal for a family gathering. Clean, cozy, warm and relaxed. We enjoyed the large round table for eating and games. Has a nice kitchen, warm floors, and the sauna was a nice treat after skiing. Nice open area to gather around a fireplace for drinks. Will stay here again.

Just what you need

I wish i could come back in winter and cozy up on the couch and read after skiing. Still, the fall leaves were amazing. We got in late and came home to a fire on in the fireplace. The heated bathroom floor and toilet seat were just amazing after being in the crisp air. Close to lots of great dining.

Stunning cabin in the mountains

What a beautiful experience! We spent a few days at this gorgeous cabin and didn't want to leave! Our bed was very comfortable. Shawna, our host, was fantastic. She even left us some treats! We are looking at our calendar to see when we can go back!

Perfect mountain getaway

We had such a great time in this beautiful cabin. We all felt the pictures do not do this cabin justice as you really have to be there to see it. From the cleanliness to all of the details with supplies, kitchen gadgets, and decor. We only really needed to bring our clothes food and toiletries. Everything you need is there. I’m new to VRBO and didn’t realize where to find all of the information such as door code and wifi pw but Shawna was very patient and quick to respond to any of my questions. The surrounding areas are so nice and short distances from the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Summer family local BC getaway!

This was such a lovely home away from home for my family. It was me, my husband and our 3 daughters ages 9, 10 & 13. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It was clean, the beds were all so comfortable and all the comforts of home were there! The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils and pots and pans we needed! The outdoor patio area above the car port was amazing in the morning as we enjoyed a cup of coffee and then at night making s’mores on the propane fire pit. Communication with the owner was amazing! Prompt and very helpful. My family and I had never been up to Rossland so the owner helped us out with recommendations on where to take the kids and gave us the name of her recommended grocery store. All in all this was an amazing trip, at an amazing house and we will for sure be back!!!
