Sunburst Condo 2778 - Tri-level with Elkhorn Amenities & Hot Tub Onsite

This 2-bedroom plus loft/2-bath, three-level condo offers 1,700 square feet with sleeping for 6 guests. On the lower level, the primary bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bath with a tub and shower. There is a deck with built-in benches off the primary bedroom. The guest bedroom on this level has a Queen bed, along with a full-size washer/dryer in the hall adjacent to the hall bathroom with a shower. This unit does not have A/C.

The middle level has the living and dining area and the kitchen. The dining table seats 6, and the kitchen has 2 bar stools. The living room has a 40-inch flat-screen TV, and a sofa and loveseat surround the flagstone wood-burning fireplace. The deck off the living room has chairs and a gas barbecue grill. A loft above the living room is accessed by stairs and includes two twin beds.

Elkhorn Amenities: One amenities pass is required for each guest using the pool, golf, or tennis (even babies). Please let us know all guest names so passes can be printed prior to your arrival. Winter Amenities: Village Facility hot tub, sauna, steam room open end of November to mid-April. Summer Amenities: Harker Pool is open from early June through Labor Day. Village Pool is open from July through mid-September. Tennis and golf open from May through October (weather permitting).

Complex Features: No pets allowed. The Sunburst Condominiums are located near the Elkhorn Plaza. Golf, tennis, and swimming are within walking distance. Mountain Rides provides free shuttle service to Ketchum, Sun Valley, and Warm Springs. Guests of Sunburst have access to the pools (summer only), saunas, and hot tubs at the Harker Center and Elkhorn Village. The Sunbursts also have their own summer pool and year-round hot tub.

Construction Notice: The Sunburst complex will be having roofing work done in May/June/July and in Sep/Oct of 2026. Work will be paused during Aug 2026. 

Please note: No pets allowed. This unit is professionally managed, and all check-ins are at the Alpine Lodging Office, conveniently located on South Main Street in Ketchum. Self-check-in is not available at the property. We strive to make check-in as quick and easy as possible so you can start enjoying your vacation! Reservations are unit-specific. We do everything possible to keep your reservation in the same property you’ve reserved. If the property has a maintenance emergency, we will contact you with the option to move your reservation to a property of equal or greater value, at no additional cost.

This property was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. The view was great and we enjoyed the fireplace and appreciated the space heaters in the lower levels. The location was great with the nearby hot tub and sauna and walking trails all around. We did get locked out (note that the front door automatically locks when you close it) and the property management group helped us immediately. Overall, we had a great experience at this property!

Relaxing Sun Valley Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was convenient to the shuttle and all that Sun Vally has to offer. This spacious unit met our needs and the kitchen was well stocked. Some aspects of the unit were a bit tired (window blinds/ mattresses) and could used some love, but we had no major issues and would recommend this property and manager.

Very uncomfortable beds and extremely dated

The fire place was great and our kids loved the loft. We really wanted to like this place but had a tough time since we were all so exhausted from sleeping so poorly. The mattresses were terrible, unfortunately. The bedding felt like it was very old and felt dirty. It would be easy to update! As mentioned in other reviews, it often felt dark in the condo. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with the exception of not having a wine opener which was a real bummer our first night. Once we let them know, they brought one the next day. Overall it felt like a grandmother’s home that was begging for an update.

This time we had multiple problems so the point that I was embarrassed to call the lodging company to come fix them. It also didn’t have a vacuum on site. That was annoying because we were there with little kids and we would have liked to keep it cleaner. Also, the main living area is so dark. I wish there were more lights.

It was disappointing that every window had issues with the blinds and would not work correctly. Vertical blinds were missing blinds so lots of light allowed through. One side of the siding glass door on the main level was missing the whole blind.

The house is well furnished, comfortable, warm, has great wifi. The team is responsive and helpful - as we had to call them a couple of times. We also saw Elk running around! I would highly recommend this stay if you're looking to be in Sun Valley. About an ~8-minute drive to Bald Mountain, 5 minutes to town. Note, the balconies cannot technically be used.

Great location

We found the condo comfortable and loved the location. It was clean with a well stocked kitchen( minus a colander for pasta draining). It is a very dark condo. There are no overhead lights and with the decks being blocked off for construction it blocked even more natural light. Would’ve loved a couple of laundry detergent pods to be included. Overall we loved our time at elkhorn/ sun valley
