Terrible hotel

The maple tree inn gave our reserved rooms away to someone else. Plus there were no other rooms available so we had to go to another hotel. All of this was at 1am. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences in my 20 years of traveling for a living. There was no help from the staff and no explanation as to why our reserved rooms were given to someone else.

We’ve been staying at the Maple Tree Inn since the 1970s. While the breakfast is nowhere near as sumptuous as it was in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, it was still of better quality and variety than other hotels/motels offer for their “continental breakfasts” these days. The Maple Tree remains our go-to hotel when we are in the Sunnyvale area.

Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in the Sunnyvale area. Rooms and restrooms are clean, the bed was comfortable and quiet due the evening. Not so much interaction with the staff but they all seemed friendly and helpful!
