Amazing Views at the Big Beautiful Oasis

Located on MM25 off the Main Channel. The views from this beautiful home are outstanding! The home is nestled into the hillside with multiple decks. Three of the four large bedrooms have a view of the lake. The upper level has three large bedrooms with with two full baths. The main level has a large open floor plan with ample seating in the living room, dining area, a huge gorgeous kitchen, a large bedroom, laundry room, plus 1&1/2 baths finish out this level.

Our decks feature a pizza oven, smoker, and a full size grill. Also a play area for the kids.

The dock has two jet ski lifts for use, a boat slip with a 24 foot lift that can accommodate boats and tritoons (it is a six thousand pound lift) and a large sun deck/swim platform so the family can enjoy the lake and activities.

Girls weekend

The house is beautiful! The only downside is that it’s built into a hill so the driveway is down hill and you have to walk down a lot of stairs to get to the house. Otherwise, beautiful place with a gorgeous deck and view!

88 Winding Ashley rental

We have vacationed in LOZ for 30 years. This is one of the best homes we rented. It is a Main channel rental, the dock is nice. If your physically fit the stairs are no problem. The kids loved fishing from the dock. We stayed 6 days 7 nights. I would highly recommend this rental. The only negative is the outdoor grill needs repair or replacement.

Owners wasn’t responsive at all

I chose this location because it had a lake view and a smoker to smoke my meat since it was my birthday. Bought petals to smoke my meat just to find out the smoker didn’t work tried communicating with owners never got a response so didn’t get to smoke my meat the day I wanted also owners want you to strip beds and take your own trash 20-30 mins from the location why charge people clean up fee if you think we’re supposed to do everything .. definitely didn’t not feel comfortable with loading up trash in my packed car! With family and my personal belongings that’s a bit unreasonable and made us uncomfortable I’m not gonna be driving around looking for somewhere to dump trash seeing how much I paid a night plus cleaning fees .. also owners could Periodically spray for spiders and insects you can’t even enjoy the deck without being scared you’ll get bit by something

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful home. Very spacious and clean. We were thrilled to find a home with a covered slip with a lift for our tritoon. We would not attempt to get our boat trailer down the road or driveway to the home again as it is super steep and the turns are very sharp, but found trailer storage at a local State Park. All in all we had a great time!

Long ozark weekend

Property was great for a long weekend with friends. Although we had some difficulty getting the grill going, the property was well stocked with other cooking options and the management was quick to reply. The property is right off the main channel so not sure how great it would be for kids swimming, but was great for a group of young adults. Also worth noting the hills around the house are very steep when driving in.

Ozarks vacation

We have vacationed at LOZ for 30 years this was one of the best properties. Everyone enjoyed the house, great condition, large rooms and nice dock. I will book this again. Only negative was the jet ski lift, but it is being repaired. 100% rating.

Steep Walks

There is a LARGE STEP going down to the dock where the land and bridge meet and one of our guests fell down and almost fell to the lake a 4-5 drop into the lake. She was bruised, but not severely hurt but it could have been worse. Also, the Jet Ski lift had a leak and would only stay up about an hour, very disappointed.

Thanksgiving Relaxation

This property was great-all you really need to do is bring your clothes and food; everything else is there. It’s truly spacious The view is wonderful. The outdoor amenities are there beyond what normally people have on their deck. The driveway is narrow but doable. Relaxing was achieved.

Best VRBO we had stayed at!

We truly loved this house! It had so many things available for their guests in the kitchen
.made cooking for two families so easy! It had ample space for 4 adults and 4 teens! Loved the living room and tables - plenty of seating space. The only thing we would have liked to see was a different style of ladder
.larger and more like steps. and maybe a slide in the dock for more water fun! The drive way / garage is roomy for plenty of vehicles but very steep. Lots of steps on this property! We are likely to come back even with the 12 hr drive! :) We really enjoyed ourselves! It was a very peaceful place to vacation!

very good overall

This was a very nice property with plenty of amenities, tons of space, and nice views from multiple decks. Ample parking for plenty of guests, and the double garage was a nice bonus. We were able to park our 22' boat trailer here, but maneuvering it was not for the feint of heart - you better have good skills to pull it off, or just park your trailer elsewhere. There is a little-known boat launch just a few minutes away across from Papa Chubby's for only $5. The dock is very nice - the lift in the slip is a virtual necessity. We did swim a bit one morning, but agree with the other reviews that you won't want to swim here on a busy weekend afternoon. Overall, our large group thoroughly enjoyed this property.

Amazing House on the Lake!

What a gorgeous house! Our original plans for lodging fell through and we found this gem last minute. The property manager was extremely nice and accommodating and the house was beyond perfect for our family reunion. We would absolutely stay here again.

We've stayed in this property a couple times and would go back. It's located near lots of things; restaurants, shopping, and activities. Lots of room inside and out. Love the patios and dock area.

Dock had no lift which was shown on the add. Super rough water

Water was extremely rough no life meant no bass boat. Could swim with my kid and was a complete waste of money. I would never recommend this house to anyone with a family. The add was misleading and no lift really messed stuff up. Don’t rent if you have a family a bass boat or kids that want to swim.

Great House / View...but

We stayed for 5 nights for the shootout races. The house inside was clean, however the Tv's in the upstairs bedroom and living room wouldn't connect to any streaming apps. The Dishwasher wasn't working properly, and the pull out garbage broke, so it stuck out the entire time. Plenty of plates, silverware and cups, but they should add a few more frying pans, there were only 3 it was a set, large, medium and small, made cooking a bit of a challenge. The outside Deck area is AWSOME, big grill, pizza oven and plenty of seating except it really needed to be cleaned prior to our arrival at this price point. We did call the Property Management , they did send someone over very quickly to blow off the debris, but to be honest it needed more than just that. The drive way is a tricky one, although we did get our Truck and a car in it, i don't think a trailer would ever fit...If you use the slip make sure to tie your boat down with 4 ropes otherwise being on the main channel you will have issues. We didn't since the Husband knows how to tie down our boat...other than those few complaints the house was great...just wanted to give an honest opinion....

House was great, location was not.

The house itself is very nice. Big bedrooms, great views, nice back deck. But the location of the house was bad on so many levels. The road to the house is super narrow and steep ( we brought a boat and couldn’t make it to the house). The steps down to the house from the driveway are ridiculous. The house is on the main part of the lake, while the view is awesome if you bring kids they won’t be able to swim there. And the covered slip does not have a lift. We brought a boat and the water was so rough one of our straps broke after 30 mins. We had to pull our boat out the first night.

Great views

We booked this house for a weeklong vacation with another family. The house was in good condition and it fit us well (three adults and five kids). Sheets and towels were fresh and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. I wished the bathrooms, kitchen (e.g., microwave and oven), and outdoor areas (decks, railings, and patio furniture) had been cleaner, especially at this price point. Finally, we brought our boat for the week but the entrance to the property was so steep and narrow that we could not park our boat trailer there. Instead, we had to pay to park it elsewhere. This listing should include photos of the front of the house and parking areas, which are very challenging to navigate, as the house is built into the side of a hill. The property manager was very quick to respond to VRBO messages and very helpful. Overall, we enjoyed the lake and the views from this house, and we had a wonderful week.
