Camping au bord du lac

2 nuits en tente wilderness sympas mais très fraîches le matin. Le lieu est fantastique avec des kangourous sauvages dans le camping. Le restaurant est aussi très bon.

Thank you for the review. It is great to live side by side with our Eastern Grey Kangaroo population which inhabit the Eco Camp. Mornings have been a little colder than expected this year but we always have ample blankets on hand, should they be needed. We hope to see you the next time you are in Australia.

Coming from the USA, we had never seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo. This place was AMAZING!! It surpassed every expectation we had, the bed was comfortable, everyone was very nice, and watching the kangaroos in the evening and mornings is something we will never forget!!

Glamping but not in style

Check in times are not 2pm like hotels.com advises, its 3pm if you are staying in the glamping tents, and 2pm all other camping styles. Duct tape used to secure the screen door, and not clean properly with pizza box and water bottle left under the main bed from whomever used the room last.

We deeply regret that you found an empty pizza box and a water bottle under the bed and duct tape on the door to your room. Inflexible and bad customer service

Very inflexible. We had a booking and our daughter got sick and was in hospital for a week. We tried twice to request a postponement of one week via the Hotels.com customer service. After several days of no response, we called the accommodation directly. We asked if we could postpone the booking by 1 week as they showed availability during that time at the same price but hey refused and charged us 100% for no show saying that the booking could not be cancelled. Very bad customer service.

Hi Oliver. I have also responded via your Google review. Unfortunately we received no communication that you would not be arriving. We have checked all online messaging tools but there was nothing received. Unfortunately this resulted in as a no show as the room was being held for your stay. We were contacted the day after you were due to arrive. As the room was held and we were not informed previously, this results in a full cancellation fee, as per our policy.

Stayed for a couple of nights in Paperbark Glamping Tents, family of 4. Kids loves the kangaroos! Awesome grounds, extremely well kept! Restaurant on site is a massive plus - food is ok (expect Pub Meal), and good bar on site with Gelato Bar for the kids. Area is good - way out of the rat race. Great place to base yourself and explore Noosa Northshore by 4WD. The lake is good for toddlers (ankle deep forever…..) not ideal for a swim due to shallow depths (think canoe / paddle boards) Would I stay again? Yes. The Glamping tents are fantastic!

The showers were appaling. No pressure and this really needs fixing as customers expect better when glamping. The fish and chips looked amazing, but the fish was off. The restaurant did not agree to reimburse this and that was disappointing and again unexpected from such a restaurant.

Traditionally this is one of our most popular dishes and we recieve rave reviews. Our commitment to quality is something we take very seriously. Upon discussing with the staff they advised they would have openly provided a new meal but this was not requested at the time.
