Perfect family getaway

We loved this property. Just as advertised. We enjoyed outdoor fires, breakfast on the deck among trees and wildlife and the kids being older enjoyed their own space. It is close to a number of beaches, Coolum, Peregian & Noosa. Location is perfect. We recommend for a family getaway.

Nice place but could be better

Lovely place 10 mins drive to shopping centres and beaches but could do without bugs mosquitoes & other unwanted insects, We stayed for 10days half the time was raining we had no clothes dryer to dry our clothes, the indoor clothes line was pretty small for 10 adults Probably needed better communication with cleaners etc & host We had no gas on the bbq bottle had to go and buy a new bottle and no where to put out rubbish first couple of days because the council bins weren’t emptied.Needed thorough overall cleaning inside as some inside corner walls had cobwebs

Sulian thank you for the feedback, you did have some bad weather and unfortunately in the bush that does mean more bugs & insects. My apologies about the BBQ gas bottle there is usually a spare and we would have dropped off one happily. I will contact you to re-emburse you for this.

Peaceful rustic retreat

We loved staying on this property. The alternative style was lovely and we really felt relaxed staying here. A nice private, quiet property, you feel like sitting in the bush. A 10 min drive to a lovely beach. We will consider booking again !

Spacious and relaxing

Lizard Lodge has a very open and relaxing feel. We enjoyed the spacious deck and separateness of the main house from the bedrooms. Unfortunately we stayed during a week of wet weather which also meant masses of insects. It was very difficult to keeping them outside.

We loved the bush location while still being so close to the beach, & we loved the outdoor fire experience, it felt a bit like camping! Unfortunately the property was not cleaned to standard & we had a few maintenance issues. I do suggest a comfier couch & also making it clearer in the listing that there is zero security in the property & that the rooms open to the outside, as this may not suit all families.

Hi Sam Thank you for your feedback - we did talk about the outdoor deck not being cleaned as well as it should have been but that was the only area that you mentioned as an issue. I have made sure that the cleaners are aware of this so it is addressed as best we can. The outdoor area can be hosed off but with tank water the pressure is not that great. All doors are lockable and the listing does mention the pavilion style of the home. We have lots of photos of the house that clearly show the layout. There would definitely be some families that would not like this style but we have had lots that do. Glad you enjoyed the peaceful bushland setting that make Lizard Lodge so special.

We loved lizard lodge, perfect place in great condition suitable for groups and in the best location! All good things to say and we would definitely stay again
