"Wish You Were Here” is located steps away from the sand on the popular East End of beautiful Holden Beach. Maximize your vacation enjoyment in this wonderful and tastefully decorated 4 or 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home - complete with your own private heated swimming pool! The second floor den is equipped with a day bed w/trundle and can be used as a 5th bedroom, bringing the total bed count to 8 (2 king, 1 queen, 1 twin over full w/trundle, 1 day bed w/trundle).

Ocean views from almost every window and deck! Relax while watching the sunrise, waves and island wildlife from one of the porch swings located on the 2nd or 3rd floor covered deck. Sunsets are best viewed poolside while enjoying dinner al fresco. The popular inverted floor plan is complete with lots of windows allowing natural light to brighten your day. The open concept layout allows you to enjoy cooking while the family gathers around in numerous seating options. A round table seating 8 is fantastic for family dinners and game nights!

A Master Ensuite (#1) with shower and jetted tub is located on the top floor alongside the kitchen, dining and living rooms, as well as a half bath in the common area. The second floor boasts another Master Ensuite (#2) with shower/tub combo complete with sliding door that opens to the second level deck overlooking the ocean and pool. Bedroom #3 features a queen bed and shares a full bath (tub/shower combo) with bedroom #4. Bedroom #4 is great for children featuring a twin over full bunk bed complete with trundle (sleeps 4). An additional room on this level is set up to be used as either another bedroom (#5) with a day bed w/trundle or a relaxing, second family area complete with a couch and large TV great for watching movies and gaming. A separate laundry room is also located on this floor.

This house is equipped with 7 TVs (all either Smart TV or Roku device) and wireless internet for your enjoyment. All bedrooms have a TV and ceiling fan.

Your family will have hours of fun in the ground floor entertainment area where they can play air hockey, ping pong or watch movies/games on a 58” flat screen TV. This area opens to the pool deck and has a second refrigerator for keeping your cold drinks nearby. Outside you will love the fenced yard and decking, perfect for grilling and entertaining around the pool! After your day on the beach, wash away the sand and sea in the outdoor shower, complete with hot & cold water.

Public beach access is only approximately 350 feet from the house.

This is a NO PET Property.

Pool heater may be available upon advance request only, with pool heating fee of $400 plus tax, paid in advance. Pools are cleaned prior to arrival, and also cleaned mid-stay for weekly rentals.

Bed linens and bath towels are included. No beach towels provided.

We had a fantastic stay at this home! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made it super easy to go back and forth with the kids and gear. Having a private pool was an absolute treat; it quickly became our go-to spot for winding down after sunny adventures. The house itself was spacious and well laid out, giving the kids plenty of room to play while the adults could relax and catch up. It was a great balance of fun and comfort.

A Perfect Beach Getaway! We had an absolutely wonderful weeklong stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the home was thoughtfully designed and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more), which made cooking and dining in a breeze.The views were simply stunning—waking up to ocean scenery each morning felt like a dream. The location couldn't have been better, with easy beach access and nearby shops and restaurants just a short drive away.We especially loved the modern pool area, which was perfect for lounging and relaxing after a day in the sun. Inside, the furniture was not only stylish but also super comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home.This place checked every box for us—comfort, convenience, and coastal charm. We can’t wait to return!

Holden Beach getaway

Loved the location the beach access is close to home. Home was well stocked with kitchen items, beach n pool toys. Beds were comfortable. Home was clean. Lots of seating both inside and outside. Holden beach is a quiet beach community and not commercialized which was perfect for us.

Love the "Pink House"!

Entire experience was very good. Andrea was very responsive to any questions we had. The view of and proximity to the beach were real highlights. And the pool is fantastic. If you want to be really close to the beach access and have lovely views of the beach but don't want to pay the exorbitant beachfront prices, this is the place!

This house was awesome. The location was amazing and it was big enough for our group. The outdoor spaces (decks, pool and game room) were the icing on the cake. Everything was extremely clean. You can’t beat this house for the location and the quality of the house. Looking forward to future stays

Family vacation- remembering my Dad

House was perfect for our 6 adults and 4 children family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone when they wanted a little alone time as well as the space for is all to be together for meals amd game playing. Owner was very responsive to any and all questions. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the fact that it is a family beach, so no overcrowding. The pool in the backyard was used everyday - multiple times each day. Grocery store was close by as well as many restaurants. Grandkids did not want to leave!

Home away from Home

The home was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would want to prepare your own meals. Check In was a breeze with the keyless entry. The public access to the beach is so close, the walk to the ocean once on the beach might have been longer than the walk to the access. The outdoor living areas including the pool were a big hit with our group. Nice quiet end of the island with very little street traffic. If we come back to Holden Beach, we'd definitely stay at Wish You Were Here again!

We stayed with a large group of different ages. Everyone from the oldest to the youngest had the best time. The house was wonderful and provided everything we needed for a great week. We especially emjoyed the pool and the ping pong table.

Wonderful week at Holden

We stayed at Wish You Were Here the week of July 4th and couldn't have enjoyed it more! The property is cozy yet spacious - with plenty of spaces for your family to enjoy. Our favorite parts were the pool and outdoor spaces, where we spent the majority of our week. With views from several porches, we sat outside every morning and evening - and enjoyed the pool during the day! For the one day it rained, my sons really enjoyed the game room downstairs by the pool. Beds were very comfortable and many of the items you need are included at the house, which helps with packing. The host, Andrea, is so thoughtful and responsive as well. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

Loved the property. Most well-stocked kitchen of any of our many rentals. Outdoor spaces are fabulous - from the 2 porch swings to the multiple decks - offered great opportunities for sun or shade. The pool area is especially nice! And the owners were very responsive to all of our questions/ requests. Also close to beach access.

Awesome house with great hosts!

This was our first time at Holden Beach. We loved the simple and small town feel. The house, the pool and easy access to the beach made our stay memorable. We had a few issues come up in the house while we were there but the owners and caretaker responded in record speed. We we were well taken care of. The house and the kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of thoughtful details to enjoy. We are thankful for such a wonderful place for my family of five, my parents and my brother and his family to vacation together.
