Perfect location. Host responsive and helpful. Unit needs some updates and a refresh for the cost. Basic toiletries would be appreciated, such as toilet paper, paper towels, hair dryer, dish washer pods, shampoo and conditioner. Beds were very comfortable. Coffee and tea would be a bonus.
It worked for a week but this unit is in need of serious updating. The mattress was horrible, our backs were killing us! The vents in the ceiling were a major concern as they looked to have black mold around them. The carpet entering the living room was pulling up which could be painful if stepped on. There was food left in the disposal upon arrival leading to fruit flys during our stay. The laundry room light didnât work. We fixed it. Also, the unit was freezing upon arrival. Overall, it worked for a week but I would not recommend it and we wonât book this unit for a future stay.
The unit was pretty much as we expected. Wasnât as clean as I would have hoped. For example, ridge door handle and front were very sticky. Sheets and towels were very low quality, but hey! Iâm really just there for the beach experience.:-)
We had a great time, but there are several annoying issues with the upkeep of this unit. They were not bad enough to report during the week and have to wait for them to be repaired. I am reporting them to Dunes Realty by filling out the survey and mailing it to them.
Needs updating, but great view and overall good buy
Pros: great oceanfront location, 3 level condo with elevator, parking was good, kitchen was well stocked with pans/utensils, clean, laundry room, no bugs, extremely fast response to repair needed for AC, overall good layout. Overall a good value for the money. Carpet s in good condition, looks like it may have been replaced recently.
Cons: no keyless entry so you have to go to the rental office to get keys and to return keys (in traffic, where everyone else is going also to get their keys, so good luck parking on a very busy intersection), master bedroom mattress is WAAAYYYY past needing to be replaced....owners should be ashamed that they haven't replaced it, AC barely works in master bedroom so plan to bring or buy a large fan, also property description should not list both single pull out sofa and queen pull out sofa in the LR as sleeping options, because they can't both be used at the same time, due to layout. If you can't use both, don't list both. All TVs are ancient and small, so we never even turned them on. Deck furniture really flimsy so we didn't hang out there.
