Great location to the beach, the house & layout of the house met our needs. Enjoyed the pool!
Great house. It accommodate 7 of us well except for a few things that I feel need to be pointed out: A couple of the beds need to be replaced especially downstairs two beds as they were worn out & very uncomfortable. . Also upon arrival,while I was making the beds, 2 of the mattress pads (same 2 beds) were stained, absolutely filthy, & totally unacceptable so I called old colony property manager & they immediately sent 2 new pads over which was good! However they told us to put the old pads outside our door & they would collect them but they were still there when we left a week later. The downstairs shower has some flooring issues around the drain (under the shower unit)...you should inspect this as it may lead to serious floor damage. Kitchen was great except there weren’t enough spoons (small). Dishwasher was incredibly LOUD!! Also the sink needed a screen to cover the drain on the side opposite the garbage disposal. The kitchen table chairs were a bit worn as some of them had been repaired (the back spindles) & were wobbly. The pool area was great except the grill was so rusted out & dirty that we couldn’t use it. Also on the last night the air conditioner unit smelled like the heat came on for a while but kept it working & cooking the house. We reported this on check out to old colony property manager. Overall the house was great & worked out well for our family beach trip! We really enjoyed the outside porch as well as the big table inside as we could all sit together & talk, laugh, & enjoy each other’s company!!
