When I first arrived at the property after a long drive, there was only one person in the lobby front, which is understandable. She was on the phone explaining breakfast policy to another potential customer for quite a while. She apologized for the wait and proceeded with my check-in. I finally got the room and went upstairs, expecting a nice clean accommodation. When I opened the door, it was an occupied room: the room was not cleaned and there was a luggage. Thankfully there was not anybody in the room. This was my first time having such experience. I went all the way back to the lobby and requested another room after telling her the situation. I feel like I did not get the appropriate apology, but I was too tired for a quarrel. She only switched the room. The quality of the room cleanness was quite poor: some hair left in the bathroom floor and in the shower, and it led me doubt the bedding hygiene. Overall my experience with Alex72 was far below par especially after reading all the nice comments left on the hotels.com review.

Beautiful, modern hotel near city hall in Suwon. 5 minute walk from City Hall train station and everything else. Hotel itself is great, wood floors, a nice bed, and good service.

Very affordable for a really good location. Minutes away (walking) from restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Toiletries such as tooth brush, shampoo, soap, moisturizers are provided. Under $50.

So beautifully designed, very modern feel. The location is a 10 minute taxi from Suwon Station and about a 25 minute walk. Loved the brunch, its worth all 11,000 Won and even a bit more. The brunch was an even mix of Korean and Western food. Bed was super comfy...shower head felt like a spa. Just an overall beautiful and peaceful place to stay.

Beautifully done, the interior and rooms are gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the blankets and pillows felt like clouds. Woke up every morning refreshed and ready to explore. The front desk was very helpful and if they didnโ€™t know the answer...they made it their duty to figure it out. The breakfast was worth the 11,000 W (and quite possibly a little more). Will definitely be making a return to this gem.
