Full Vacation Home on The Farm in Swafford Valley

Far from the hustle and bustle of city life, located smack dab in the middle of farm country, this is the perfect place to escape. Bring the kids, both big and little for some peaceful family time and explore all that nature has to offer in our BIG back yard. We offer 3 bedrooms containing 9 beds and 2 full size bathrooms, one with a walk in shower, the other with a soaker tub. Brand new inside and out, complete renovation and all new furnishings and linens as of Sept 2020. Equipped with state of the art heating and air system that allows personalized control of every room. Fully equipped kitchen and open floor plan. Large laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer ... and PLENTY of outdoor space to run, play, celebrate and enjoy quality family time.

Great Stay

Beautiful, clean, updated home. After already traveling for a week this place actually felt like home. Beds were comfortable, home was spacious, & property was gorgeous. It is away from any stores/conveniences but that wasn’t a problem for us. That being said, cell service & internet worked, but was slow. Just an fyi in case it’s a deal breaker. We really had a nice and relaxing couple of days and we wished we could have stayed longer! If we find ourselves in in this area again we will definitely stay again.

Natural Beauty

This is a great country property with space to enjoy nature and not far from Kansas City! The owner was very responsive and accommodating! We had a small family wedding at this property and it was a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful day!

Clean and peaceful

For traveling to KC, This place was farther out than I originally wanted, but it was WELL worth the drive! It was clean, cute, comfy, well stocked with kitchen supplies, and PEACEFUL! If you prepare for the drive to a store or where you want to eat, you can enjoy truly relaxing.

Very pleased!

We stayed in the cottage over the New Year to celebrate the holidays with family. It was very warm, clean, and cozy. It had all the things needed to hang out and cook and play games with family. She shower was amazing!....and the Christmas decorations and overall decor was so cozy and cheerful. We would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity.

Idyllic Rural Setting

Our family enjoyed a quiet, relaxing and very comfortable vacation at Swafford Valley Creekside Cottage, located less than an hour from the Kansas City Airport and 30-45 minutes from the communities of Richmond, Lexington, Higginsville and Liberty. The home was impeccably clean and the yard was beautifully landscaped and mowed, perfect for exploring, playing corn hole, and watching sunrises and sunsets. We saw a deer, a racoon, a groundhog, a turkey, lightening bugs and snails, all of which fascinated the little boys. We highly recommend this comfortable home in its idyllic rural setting.

Graduation family Stay

The cottage is beautiful. This house is very clean and updated. My family live in busy Texas (city life) they really enjoyed the peace and quiet farm life has to offer. I highly recommend this place. My family of 8 fit very comfortably.

A Great Little Place Out in the Country
