Nice property, convenient location to light rail and Surry Hills cafes, pubs, etc. Terrace styled with bedrooms located upstairs and accessed by narrow, steep stairs which might not suit everyone. Renovated, fresh and clean, and we would stay there again. Stairs make for a great little workout.
When I first arrived, I was a bit nervous and worried because I saw spider webs around the key hole. However, inside the place was neat and my kids really loved to stay this place.
In addition, the tram station is 2min walking distance, and it goes almost all of the tourist sites. Cool cafes and restaurants nearby, and Moore park is close.
I was worried that there was no AC, but during the stay, it was so cold I need to use the heaters instead.
It might be cold staying during the winter season since we were shivering even though it was summer. The heaters helped a lot.
The feedback was quick and Gabriela was very supportive during the stay. Thanks, we really enjoyed during the stay.
The apartment was very conveniently placed to the light rail service into Sydney, Central station etc.
The living area downstairs was very nice, bathroom fine and nice outdoor area. The upstairs corridor is narrow, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. A rail at the top of the stairs would be a safe and useful inclusion.
The main bedroom was spacious with plenty of cupboard area. The bed was fine, although a bit bouncy.
Bedroom 2 was smaller but still had room on both sides of the bed and storage space, the only detraction ,a major one, was that the blind was a thin sort of paper design that let the light in from very early in the morning. We have passed on the suggestion of a more robust blind/curtain to the hosts.
The only other comment I would make was that we could not access free to air tv (Netflix was available). An information manual in the unit might have assisted in sorting this out but there wasn't anything. We emailed the hosts but didn't really sort this out. It wasn't a big deal as we weren't there to watch tv but would have liked to watch the news .
Great little place and we will definitely come back.
