The room was stunning I had the best 2 nights sleep that Ive had in years. I received an upgrade to a suite with beautiful view of the harbour bridge and water. Excellent helpful staff they couldn't have been more helpful. Valet parking my onlyextra charge all meals from room sevice was complimentary only thing was staff couldnt fivure out pod coffee machine I did eventually 😅 let it warm up. Im hoping to stay at the star again soon in Sydney and next November on GoldCoast for a wedding hopefully the licence is renewed as they arnt taking bookings after August unfortunately I want to join star accommodation how can I do this from home

Check-in and concierge services were very friendly and helpful. We really liked the hotel and the suite. The only issue we encountered was the very inconsistent information regarding a late check-out. The day before our departure, we were told to ask again in the evening because the daily rate was not yet known. In the evening, we were then told that the hotel was fully booked and that we could only check out at 12 pm instead of 11 am. On the day of departure, we were once again informed that a late check-out was not possible. It was only when we spoke to a more experienced staff member that we learned a late check-out was in fact available for an extra charge. We happily paid this fee and were able to check out at 3 pm. This was very important for us as we were travelling with two small children and our flight to Europe was not scheduled until 10 pm. ⸻
