We had such a great stay here. The house has been completely remodeled and felt fresh, comfortable, and really well thought out. It was perfect for our family and would easily work for two families as well. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped, which made meals easy. Our kids loved the bunk room—between the air hockey table, comfy sectional, and smart TV, they were happy the whole time. The views are beautiful and unobstructed, and the new covered outdoor spa was an awesome place to relax at the end of the day. We'd definitely stay here again.
Very convenient location close to Palisades. A couple issues with dishwasher and shower head, however very responsive when called to get fixed. Overall, we had a great stay!

Tahoe Views
Great house for our family gathering. The house was perfect with a large kitchen, comfortable seating, a lovely view from the deck, a nice hot tub and lots of space for our family. The house is located walking distance to Page Meadows with lots of hiking/mountain biking trails. Wonderful time and great service from Tahoe Getaways!

Amazing family trip in Lake Tahoe
Our family had a wonderful time at Tahoe Point of View. The view of the lake is spectacular & our teens loved the “bunk” style room. They also enjoyed time in the hot tub & the sauna. We also loved being in Tahoe City and it's by far our favorite part of Lake Tahoe. The house is very rustic and hasn't been remodeled in a while but it definitely had charm.

Tahoe cabin
The cabin met most needs
There are some items that should be replaced due to noise or not working efficiently, stove kept making starter clicking noise on high, washing machine (very loud- sounded like a helicopter )upstairs toilet kept making a loud beeping alarm in the middle of the night until it was flushed - very odd.
Great location and amazing view. All beds were very comfy!

Point of View
This was a great property for our family vacation. VERY clean home. The view is spectacular. Bears in the neighborhood are smart. They can open the trash bins and make a mess. We bolted the door on the trash bin and it worked just fine. We highly recommend this home!

Perfect for a weekend getaway.
Great house for a weekend getaway. Easy to access and the management company was very responsive to questions and requests.
The space is set up for a large group which meant 4 of us had a lot of room to be together. The bedroom that has kids beds is great for families I expect and adults should be aware that you are sleeping in smaller beds which may not be to everyone's liking. The rest of the bedrooms were very comfortable and had ample linens for chilly nights.
The kitchen has the basics for making meals and plenty of dish and glassware. Again exactly what you need for a getaway.
The hot tub is a great addition and easily accessible.
The views are beautiful and being able to sit on the deck in the morning and watch the sunrise over Lake Tahoe was lovely.

The house had a nice view. It was lacking A LOT of basic amenities though. No pillows or blankets on the couch. No real "decorations" so the home felt a bit "bare". If you are are OK with all that, the place has a good view in a great location. Also, make sure to bring literally everything... no salt, no pepper, no oil NOTHING. All and all home could use some updating its a little outdated, some windows were broken etc. Not sure it was worth what we paid for nightly, but its a nice option if it were a little cheaper.

Lovely house with incredible views
This house was great for our group of 10. The views are reason alone to book this house. Sitting on the deck looking out over the Lake was incredible. Hot tub area was super nice and big enough to fit us all. Kitchen and grill were great. House felt very updated and new, beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice. Quick drive to Tahoe City for bars, restaurants, grocery stores etc. and close enough to the Lake! Only thing I'd note is the parking. There is a 2 car garage and a 1 car parking pad... House only allows for 3 cars. For a house that sleeps 10 people who may be coming from different places, coordinating to have just 3 cars was a pain. We saw other cars parked on our road on the street, and there was honestly room to park 1 more car perpendicular to the 2 garage doors... so wish we could have done that to avoid cramming in 3 with all our luggage, food etc. Otherwise loved it! Highly recommend.

Pretty to look at, terrible to stay in.
The good: the house and view are beautiful. That can't be argued. But that's about where it ends. Nothing functions well. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes and smelled bad. The dryer never fully dried the towels. The windows were all drafty and difficult to open/close. The TV had such a horrible glare that it was unwatchable. And possibly the worst: the house is basically impossible to sleep in because you hear absolutely EVERYTHING. We stayed in the master - which is a loft with an open upper wall - every flush, step, and turn in bed we heard. Laying in bed I could hear my friend brushing her teeth on the bottom floor - two floors down. Even as responsible and respectful adult guests, no one got sleep, and by the 3rd night were so exhausted we could barely function. The greatest disappointment was the inability to use the main floor deck. We called upon arrival to report that the sliding door was locked, but it was actually closed intentionally and we were not told ahead of time that we could have ZERO access to the mai deck. The stay was truly disappointing and we would NEVER recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. We've stayed in upwards of 25 homes in the Tahoe city area and this was hands down the most impractical and disappointing. AVOID!
Our stay was so much fun and the house was just perfect. We sat out on the deck everyday and enjoyed the amazing view. Everything was as we expected from the listing. The 7 of us were very comfortable in this house. I still think the west shore is the best place to stay when visiting Lake Tahoe.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Great location, poorly maintained - not worth the cost
Great location - closer to city and you can enjoy the lake views from the deck.
But the place was portly maintained for the price:
1) We had no TV or Internet - throughout our stay. We spent many hours with the cable provider and management firm to know that the lead time to fix is 10 days !!!
2) Lack of basic amenities. No toilet paper, hand soaps, etc. Kitchen had no basics either like salt, oil or even non stick pans. Sigh.
3) Annoying details like no access to deck. Management company told us that because of risk of snow/ice falling from the roof. But then poor access to the house - because the whole enterabce is iced up !!!
For the cost, this was one of my not-so-good-stays (if not worst).

We rented the house for 5 night to celebrate a birthday and the Fourth of July. The house is beautiful and was very clean when we arrived! The view of the lake is amazing and the kid room was perfect. The kitchen was lacking some essential items, like salt and pepper, hand towels, paper towels, etc. The WiFi was extremely frustrating, not working at times, which would stop our movies midstream. We were also disappointed that the private beach put up a sign saying “homeowners only, no renters.” We paid a lot of money for this house to have the private beach, so that was a big disappointment. We ended up leaving a night early. I would suggest bringing your own paper towels, toilet paper, and any kitchen supplies for cooking!

Amazing Tahoe Getaway
The place was beyond our dreams of a family vacation in Tahoe. The home was extremely clean, organized, the room layout was efficient with plenty of space to play. It was located perfectly to have a picturesque view of the lake while close enough to walk to hikes and the town for food. We very much enjoyed the cozy home that has everything you need for a warm stay in the winter or a like we experienced a beautiful summer adventure.

Beautiful home; though not ideal for the elderly
Overall, it is a beautiful home with gorgeous views and nice touches. I've stayed up in the Talmont neighborhood many times; I continue to enjoy that location, and the proximity to the Paige Meadows trailhead. The HOA private beach was also very nice (and fairly quiet during the week!). Office staff were polite, welcoming and helpful.
As others have noted, it would be a big plus if the owners would invest in some screen doors for the sliders, as well as screens for the windows (there are some windows with screens; most without). The house --especially the main living floor-- gets hot during sunny summer days. Had to have doors/windows open to make it bearable and to cool it off at night; the downside was having to deal w/ yellow-jackets periodically during the day and other bugs at night. Again, screens would have made it much more pleasant. Some well placed window coverings/shutters on the big living room windows would have helped as well.
The other caution I would offer is that this is NOT a place for elderly guests. My parents (83 yrs old) were with us. I was prepared for some challenges; however due to the absence of railings in the staircases, it became a real challenge for them. Hand railings would have made all the difference. I certainly take responsibility for not accurately assessing their needs and asking questions about railings.
Overall, this was a great property; the location, the views, the open concept really was excellent for our large group.
Suggested improvements would include;
-Screens on all windows and the sliding door to the upper deck (there is no AC and we were only able to open 1/2 of the windows due to lack of screens. There are moths and mosquito's so this was a problem)
-Make sure cook top and grill are fully functioning. We had some burners that would not light on the gas cook top and only one side of the grill would ignite.
-Add more dish towels (hand and sink)-there were only two.
-Add extra TP rolls in all bathrooms; there was only one bathroom with 3 extra rolls in a basket-this should be available in all bathrooms.
-Wash all extra blankets for each new arrival. (We did use the blankets for cold evenings and mornings but many of them were anything but "fresh" so no idea when they were washed-pretty gross)
Again, this was an incredible property and we would definitely stay there again. Property management was really excellent and responded to us even over the weekend (pretty amazing!).

A beautiful home with a cozy and connective layout.
We loved our stay here and found the home just right for being able to cook together and hang out but also find private time in the various nooks of the home. The hot tub and sauna were so good after a day on the hill riding and everything we needed was there. The hot tub was being serviced when we got there and they offered us a 10% off next visit and/or an early check in which was really nice too. Everyone we interfaced with was helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again.
