Nestled directly on the sandy shores near Moondunes beach, this cabin offers an unbeatable backyard: a private stretch of North Tahoe beach ideal for building sandcastles, soaking in the sun, or relaxing by the water. The bright, fully equipped kitchen and dining area boast sweeping lake views, and now feature a brand-new washer, dryer, and dishwasher for added convenience during your stay. The cozy living room, complete with a gas fireplace and flat-screen TV (streaming only), is the perfect spot to unwind as the sun dips behind the mountains. Step out onto the large sunny deck directly from the dining room and discover the new BBQ and outdoor seating (available in summer months). Come enjoy summer gatherings, winter lounging, or breathtaking Tahoe sunsets.

Pine Cove Cabin includes two inviting bedrooms: one with a plush king-sized bed and the other with both a queen and a twin bed, offering plenty of space for family or friends. Both bathrooms have been thoughtfully upgraded with beautiful, walk-in stone showers, blending modern comfort with rustic charm. An additional sauna is perfect for warming up after a day on the lake or slopes, inviting you to indulge in a little extra relaxation during your stay.

In the summer, enjoy direct access to beautiful Lake Tahoe with a shared homeowner's pier and possible access to a boat buoy (available on a first-come, first-serve basis) for water activities. The large sunny deck is perfect for BBQs and relaxing while taking in stunning lake views. Kings Beach is just minutes away, offering a variety of summer activities including hiking, golf and tennis.

In the winter, Pine Cove is ideally located for snow sports enthusiasts. Northstar Ski Resort is just a 15-minute drive away, and Palisades Tahoe/Alpine Meadows is 25 minutes from your door. Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, or cozying up by the fire in the cabin after a fun-filled day on the slopes. After a fun day out in the snow, come in and warm up in the sauna.

Stunning location

We enjoyed our stay right on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The home was clean and comfortable (beds were very comfortable), and the views were so perfect, they didn't even look real. The house was well-stocked. The sauna was incredible, as well! We definitely will be back in the summer months when weather will enable us to take advantage of the deck and beach area.My only suggestion is that the listing specify that there is only 1 parking spot. I didn't realize that until our check-in instructions. We had 2 cars. Not a huge deal, but just something to know if you're booking the property.

Best location!

We spent 3 nights with our two dogs. What a charming cottage literally on the beach! Amazing views from bay window. Everything very clean. Comfy bed. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the living room furniture, major garage sale vibes of various eras. Thank you for sharing this incredible place, we will be back!

Charming cottage on the water

We loved our stay in this small, quaint and charming cottage, directly on the edge of Lake Tahoe. Windows from the living room and breakfast room/kitchen frame a lovely view of the lake. The deck is also a wonderful place to hang out, complete with lounge chairs and a outdoor table. The location is incredibly convenient to local restaurants, stores and other conveniences in the Tahoe Vista/Kings Beach area. The management staff were quite helpful and very customer service oriented.

Perfect Get Away

Best Lake Tahoe location - panoramic lake views from living and dining room. We were able to prepare our meals in the nicely equipped kitchen and have the best views while dining either in the dining or living area. The home is so conveniently located to beach, walking trails and shops that we didn't used our vehicle during our entire stay. My suggestion to improving the home is new living room furniture to match the outside beauty.

60th Bday Family Celebration

Love love love the view and deck, doesn't get better than this, right on the water with a beach & dock in front of you! Very convenient location too! We enjoyed the sauna at night looking out at the stars over the water, even in the summer. While the house/cottage is decent it is just in need of a really really good cleaning!! Bedspreads were dirty, throw pillows in living room are disgusting, cabinets and quite a few dishes/pans/silverware were dirty, BBQ grill is corroded thru needs replacing. Just needs more attention to detail. But like I said cannot beat the water front location!!

Cozy and convenient

It's a nice place. Not huge, but enough room for our family of four plus a small dog. Judging by the vintage ads for Pine Cove Cabins on the walls, they've been rental vacation cottages for decades. The location on the beach offered great views and room to walk around. I expect it'd be wonderful to be on the lake in summer; in winter it was convenient to stores, restaurants, and ski resorts. There were a ton of towels, sheets, and pots and pans, which made the very minimal supply of other things (mainly hand soap and toilet paper) all the more befuddling, but that was easy enough to take care of. I contacted the property manager once, to request extra blankets, and they were friendly and very prompt in helping out.

Excellent location and lovely property!

What a marvelous place! It is right on the beach with Safeway close by. You will be 12 minutes to incline village and 12 minutes to NorthStar. Unbeatable. Great host. Highly recommended.

Best area of Tahoe. Absolutely stunning view. Great beach access. Charming cottage and comfy beds.

Loved the location and the view and the beds. Home came with everything you need to cook and be comfortable- but the house has no AC, only table top fans and old windows that don’t all open easily. If you are sensitive to heat or coming during a hot season I’d be a little worried. Winter would be fantastic as it also has a great gas fireplace and is cozy. The one car parking is tricky but luckily we were there during season when you can park on Main Street and it was not too busy yet. Easy walk from covered parking to unit. I loved the location of North Tahoe, seemed so much nicer than the South section and a great little town is less than 10 min away but a supermarket is less than a mile. Super walking trails nearby. Great deck and place to chill. Neighbors all close by but was not too noisy late at night. Loved the sauna and wanted to spend as much time at the cottage as possible to enjoy the spectacular view. Stunning. Would definitely go back.

I highly recommend staying at this property. The view is the best. You can just stay there all day. The sun room is wonderful and inviting. The property is clean and very comfortable, especially the king-sized bed. The property manager is excellent and prompt if you need anything. We hope to come back!!

I highly recommend booking this rental as it right on the lake. The views from the living room are amazing and it was really quiet and clean. The house is well equipped with utensils, bedsheets, towels, etc. We would definitely keep coming back.

A great place to start off your day by having breakfast looking out over Lake Tahoe. And a great place to come back to after hiking or golfing, a nice refreshing dip in the lake, then bask in the sun on the deck.

The lake is gorgeous from this property! Right on the water, with it's own dock. The interior furnishings are slightly dated, but comfortable. One larger bathroom, and one small, worked for our party of four adults. Loved having tea & coffee on the deck in the morning. Overall, a lovely stay.

The property is a lovely setting. We have been staying in this area for many,many years and it’s near & dear to everything we love about Lake Tahoe. There is nothing like being right on the Lake. We lacked for nothing except a private chef!

LITTLE SLICE OF HEAVEN

I looked to rent a lakefront where my kids and I could kick off our shoes and relax but have the option of being outside to thoroughly enjoy beautiful lake Tahoe. Fortunately we found our heaven at the Pine Cove Cottages on VRBO. I found this cottage on a whim because I decided to search one more time for a lakefront cabin just days before we needed it. Because of a cancelation the Pine Cove became available. I lot SO lucky!! If you are looking for a small and simple place to unwind and enjoy nature at it's finest, this is it. This is a cottage to LOVE .... and it is just a stones throw away from the lake. It's not fancy or grand but it is rich in history and big on comfort. It is not modern or "smart" but is is SMART and pure in the most honorable ways. You can toss your electronics and get back to what is real and healthy!! It is purely beautiful and what I consider the perfect quintessential lakefront cabin. A true throwback cabin ... charming and small with a BIG view. We had puzzles going in every room, kayak or paddle board morning and evenings, swam and played on the beach ... went out to dinner in the evenings and the surrounding restaurants were great. The people in the neighboring cottages were all so nice and polite... the grounds are simple and easy to navigate ... and safe. The water on the north shore is warmer too ... we couldn't get out of the lake. It was pure heaven! My kids and I had the best time and we all cried when we had to leave. Mischel the property manager is exceptional too. Our experience was nothing short of perfect. Thank you
