The primary en-suite bedroom on this level includes a California king bed, private bathroom, and deck access for easy indoor-outdoor living.

The lower level of Lago Azul provides a peaceful retreat for rest and relaxation, featuring two additional en-suite bedrooms, each outfitted with luxurious California king beds, private bathroom access, and direct deck entry. County Rules
As part of the Vacation Home Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.

Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.

Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.

Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 10pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time. Outdoor hot tubs cannot be used during quite hours.

Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night during the hours of 10pm and 7am, seven days a week.

Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.

Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel.
Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.

Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.

Office Holiday Hours
The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

We booked this cabin last minute and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The space was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully stocked with all the basics—even avocado oil, salt, and pepper! The views were beautiful, and we really appreciated the stash of beach chairs and umbrellas to use. The beds were very comfortable, and the living areas felt cozy and welcoming, with Netflix and other streaming services ready to go. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views but lacks maintenance

The property has beautiful views and the kitchen was well stocked. However, I would give it a 3.5 stars as a few minor issues took away from our experience. 1) the flush in the master bath was not working properly / had to open the tank and fix it ourselves a few times 2) the lights in the entryway on upper level wouldn’t work so we had to find our way in the dark at the bottom of stairs to turn on some lights 3) the main door jammed pretty often and took a few attempts to open every time 4) the bottom edge of the upper level has lots of cobwebs. While these are not deal breakers, we expected superior level of maintenance for the price we paid per night for this property.

What a view!

The home was very comfortable, including all the bedrooms. The view from the deck was beautiful, especially in the morning watching the sun come up everyday. It was hard to leave each morning. We had our morning visit each day from the Stellar's Jay.

The house has really beautiful views as advised. Clean and spacious inside. Nice deck, perfect for family sitting together admiring the gorgeous lake in breezy summer days. The night is also spectacular on the deck. This quiet, dark neighborhood is perfect for stargazing. You can see thick Milky Way and busy stars above.

We had a great time at largo azul. Cozy linens, warm wood stove and gorgeous patio were our favorites of the property. The property is less accessible in winter, so bring an AWD vehicle or chains. Would stay here again!

The place is great...the view is PHENOMENAL!

The place itself is great. Beyond the basics (kitchen, laundry), it has 2 decks with 5 star lake views! My brother particularly enjoyed using the fireplace on the cold nights and we had a blast using the grill and watching the boats drift by while we lazily lounged around! Only suggestion is to upgrade the locks to a keypad. Might make it easier to use.

Amazing Place!

This cabin has the best 180 degree view in Tahoe! Everytime we looked out the window our jaws dropped! The view is on three levels from every room. The place was clean and well-appointed and everything worked. The furniture was comfortable, the DirecTv was in every room and the whole place is spacious, including the decks that have nice furniture and a barbecue. I will definitely return, hopefully bringing the rest of our family.

Excellent views and spacious rooms

The property is quite nice with excellent views and spacious rooms. It is south of Homewood so has a little drive going to any of the resorts. The best part of the property are the two porches that provide gorgeous views of the lake. One important thing to remember during winter is to make sure to come by a 4x4 or carry chains since the property is on an incline so it gets challenging to park in/out car when snow is slippery.

Thanksgiving in the Snow

We booked this property for three nights at Thanksgiving, expecting crisp, fall days at Tahoe. Instead, we got the first blast of winter, with several feet of snow. The cabin was everything as advertised, and, although we didn't spend anytime lounging on the deck, we thoroughly enjoyed the coziness and warmth inside. Great views of the lake, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, as well as the living area, plenty of wood, and, when we asked to extend our stay one day, because of weather and holiday traffic, we encountered no problems. All in all, we had a great time and would not hestitate to book it again.

Amazing View

8 of us stayed for 3 nights, the house is big enough to hold 10!! There is an entry way with a table and a couch facing the lake, perfect for a quiet place to read, on the second floor, there is the kitchen, dining room and a bedroom with bathroom and the amazing deck with a view, and another floor down, there are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a den is in the middle of the bedrooms. All bedrooms have views of the lake and sliding doors. It’s an amazing house and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We will definitely be back. Thank you for hosting us.

A lot more than a room with a view!

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of 5 people, and would have been perfect for several more. From the second you walk in, seeing that beautiful lake in every window was so amazing, and there were so many windows! We loved the cabin, it had everything we could want for our stay. The rooms were large, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fantastic, and the deck was somewhere I could spend my life just staring at the view. We would love to come back here!
