Very difficult to find car park if u arrive on a weekend. We had to circle the place for about an hour to get a spot. Also we didn’t realise classic rooms mean windowless. I think the hotel/expedia should be clearer on this on its booking page.

It’s a lovely area and nearby you can easily walk to the major attractions in Tainan such as the temples and the tower. The hotel also has a free space on the top floor which is nice to hang out in. Overall we enjoyed our stay completely.

Bang for the buck

It's not an expensive hotel, but their consideration for details are truly of five-star class! And the neighborhood is a street food heaven. I'd definitely like to go back there to stay longer!

Lovely Stay In Tainan.

Small hotel in small traditional alley. The hot water is amazing 😊. I stayed 3 nights, and it's near a lot of food places and easy to walk around. A bit far from the train station if carrying luggages.

Charming small hotel for a casual stay in Tainan. Located in a small backstreet lined with flowers minutes away from many eateries gave a positive immediate impression. I stayed in the smallest room with no windows and while clean the bathroom utensils had a sticky feel to them... Not sure if it's from the local water or what. The self service laundry was nice and while you have to pay they did offer free detergent which was convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It’s extremely difficult to find at first, so get your map app ready. Luckily, two kind Taiwanese girls went out of their way to help me. It’s located in the Ximen Section 2 area. Many cocktail bars in this area. A McDonald’s and Starbucks are located nearby as well. Shin Kong Department Store Ximen Branch is nearby in the Section 1 area on Ximen St. Hayashi Department Store is nearby if you want a rooftop view of the city. Nice black ice cream tea here as well on the 5th or 6th floor.

Great hotel

For a budget hotel, this is excellent. Very well run, staff friendly. Room I had was small and with no window. But small and clean. Coffee machine and lounge were a bonus. Good choice and well worth the price. So I booked a second night.

A small hotel in the alleys. Located in the city centre with easy access to tourist attractions. However, it's not that easy to find since it's located in a small alley.

Highly recommend this place

Everything was good. The place was well located in a cute area near Chikhan Towers. Very clean, quiet and well-run. I appreciated the use of the laundry and dryer on the top floor. Also, free bike rental was great way to get around Old Tainan.

Location is good, almost every interesting place is within walking distance. Free breakfast is a plus. The down is the set up of the bathroom, toilet is a kill. Refuse room 206 if you are staying in this hotel.
