There isn't slways someone at the front desk, so if you need somethning, you'll have to get the personal number of the employees and call. But overall, the place was very comfortable, clean and complete especialluy for the price. Excellent location.

Simple place to rest for the night

From the name itself, it is a Simple Place where you can get good rest after a long day of sightseeing. The location is near Ximending so you won't be far from the busy night market of Ximen. Sometimes simple is all we need.

Comfort stay near to main attractions

The staffs are friendly, helpful. room is clean. they provide water bottle everyday. convenient stall and food can be found around the corners. the only downside is that the room is a lil too small for 3 persons (i got a 3 persons room). the bed is big enough but the space is limited with our luggage. overall this is a very nice hotel

Brief Stay in Taipei

I was only in country 3 nights. That being said, the staff at a Simple Place were excellent and very helpful with maps, recommendations, etc. It is not fancy, but clean, great shower, and comfortable bed. Great location to the subway, main station only one stop away. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice SERVICE. Front desk was willing to stay behind for waiting us when our flight delayed serval hours at night. Although the hotel description was no check in service after 22:30.

A hidden gem in Ximending

Perfect location! In the heart of Ximending, where everything is there (Shops, Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels) within walking distance and complete pedestrian area. But the staff is not always at the reception.

Great location, good services, clean place

Perfect location, only 1 block from Ximen MRT. Really good services for the lady at front desk. Thank you for everything! There were minor details in the room and previous comments about the noise are true. I stayed for 4 nights. Only 1 night was awoke by the couples next room. The other nights couldn't hear my neighbours. I guess that it depends on the self awareness for the guests to keep their voices down too after a certain hours. I will stay in this hotel again.

Recommended to stay in Taiwan/Xi Men Ding

Location to xi men ding station and xi men ding shopping area is just 5 minutes walk. Room is not too small & comfortably for two person stay.

Value for money accommodation near Ximending

Entrance is a distinctive pink door which is easy to spot once u know how to get there (about 10 minutes walk from Exit 1 of Ximen MRT) though I had to call the staff to get in as the door was auto locked (can only be opened by door card which is a plus for security). Lobby was small as was the elevator but the room was big enough for a single traveler like myself (plenty of walking space). Room was cleaned daily with top ups of snacks, coffee/tea bags as well as washing essentials. Special mention to the lady boss who was friendly and caring. Also, great location and across the street to a famous supper place selling braised pork rice and fish soup (10pm to 5am). Overall, I will give it a thumbs up for its value for money location and decent room stay. Definitely will recommend to budget travelers.
