Our room is remodeled. Small but well designed. The hallway carpets and flooring need to be update. Staff is helpful, energetic and friendly. The breakfast is good and inexpensive. Overall, it is a good choice for leisure traveler.

Hotel is conveniently located right next to Taipei Main Station. Buffet breakfast was good with wide choice of food items. Helpful hotel staff.

Nice property with friendly staff and coupon for free latte in the morning (two, in fact!). Nice (windowless) room on the 16th floor, clean, hot water, comfy bed. I checkef-in at 12:30 am after a delayed flight and a train ride from the airport. No issues checking in that late. ch Checkout time is noon, so did get some one jet lagged sleep. Easy walk from Taipei main train station. Lots of homes outside sleepers around the station, so be careful.took the train to Keelung the next day, so the hotel was convenient with only a 7-minute walk. Would stay again.

Very convenient

Cosmos Hotel Taipei is located very conveniently a few minutes from Taipei main train station. We chose this hotel because we were to ride a 6am train from the station. The hotel is average accommodation. It unfortunately lacks a luggage transportation service (by an independent carrier) that we had expected to send our large suitcase to the next hotel to stay after a 3-day short trip. The hotel is surrounded by small local restaurants and convenience stores so that you won't have inconvenience.

This hotel is close to the train station and MRT. It would be easy to get around. The staff are helpful. But some facilities are getting old and need to be replaced or renovated. There was some unpleasant smell in the hallway and washroom.
