Great stay in hacienda Pinillas House was phenomenal - nicer than we expected3 rooms upstairs with bathrooms Wrap around upper deck with chaise lounge, table and chairs and a hammockFirst floor with kitchen with spices Staff waiting when we arrived with fresh cut fruit They were very responsive to any questions or recommendations before and during our trip on WhatsApp Downstairs outside with table , couch and Weber charcoal grillHad W/D 4 beach chairs- although need to be replacedFiltered waterShowers with shampoo /soap etcShared pool was great - open till 10 and rarely were in there with othersA 5 min walk to beach for sunsets - could not swim at that beachTook approx 10-15 min to drive out of property If have car do not need to rent a golf cartCan rent tennis and pickleball courts and racquets- near golf courseWe went to pinilla beach club one day- 5/day - nice pool and massages there food mid- drinks good but expensiveWe tried to go to JW Marriott pool but they were fully occupiedGreat beach/surfing and food in smaller Avellenas which is 15 minDriving to busier Tamarindo was 30 minWe also drove to playa conchal and Flamingo about 45-50 minRoads going into resort not greatWe saw tons of wildlife- howler monkeys in trees next to house, birds , armadillo, crocodile, iguanas, geckos and coyote Great stay for families

Brand new condo within walking distance of great sunset beach

We stayed for 5 days as a family ages 10-77 and were very comfortable in the condo which was very well stocked, beautifully furnished and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful spot for sunset. There are distant views of the ocean from the upper balcony. While the condo units are all connected, the construction is very solid and we did not notice noise from adjacent units. Also positioning of the patio made the unit feel private. We spent our days mountain biking, at the beach club and exploring the several beaches in Pinilla as well as restaurants in nearby Avellanas. Only disappointment was the pool furniture which was broken and unusable. (Note the management company of the condo does not manage the pool although they did promptly send someone to clean it when we asked.). Overall a very comfortable stay which we would recommend to others.

Clean and comfortable House

Wonderful stay! House was very clean and perfect for our family of 6. Could easily sleep 9. Housekeeper with morning breakfast prep a welcome bonus. Management team was extremely helpful!

Great family vacation at brand new house

Villa Gracia is a fantastic find within Hacienda Pinilla, especially for families. The place is brand new, and the spacious layout made it a hit with us and the kids. It's just a quick 3-minute stroll to the beach, which is always great when you have little ones, and for variety, three other family-friendly beaches which are great for swimming are a short 5-minute drive away. The property has a shared pool but it is practically private since we never bumped into anyone else, giving the kids free rein to splash and play. Joel, the host, is not only responsive but also very proactive; he made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommmend Villa Gracia for an unforgettable and comfortable Costa Rican beach vacation.
